  • 258 Osborne Avenue, Bay Head, New Jersey Review

"Our family enjoyed its best vacation yet at 258 Osborne Avenue. The home had fantastic charm and great space for our large family of 7. We thoroughly enjoyed its close location to the beautiful and private beaches. We rode bikes to all the nearby shops and cafes and at the end of a busy day we reclined in the relaxing family room. Sunsets were enjoyed each evening on the spacious front portch and dinners were enjoyed in both the dining room and outdoor patio table. The bedrooms were great and two bathrooms (with showers) plus an outdoor shower proved great after a long day at the beach. We are definitely looking forward to coming back next year!!!! Simply put, the home was fantastic and met all of our needs!!!"

  • What a wonderful trip!

"This was a beautiful historic home with ample indoor and outdoor spaces for gathering, a large backyard for the kids to play, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and a beautiful cedar outdoor shower. The home was a very short walk to the beach (less than a block), and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The owner was a pleasure to rent from and very thoughtfully included a list of his favorite restaurants and things to do in the area along with the eight beach passes. Point Pleasant Beach hosts fireworks on Thursday nights and they could easily be seen from the front porch or beach. A great house and a wonderful, memorable vacation!"

  • The perfect house in Bay Head!

"First, let me say that it was a pleasure working with Dorrie during our initial booking request and throughout our stay. We had a small family reunion during Christmas and this house was perfect for our multi-generational group of 13 which ranged in ages from 2 years to 91 years. The layout worked very well for us with the great open plan main level which gave us plenty of room for games with the kids as well as lots of room for cooking and food preparation with that huge fantastic island! We had everything in the kitchen that we needed...they have thought of everything. The living room and dining area opens onto a great covered porch which would be perfect for outdoor dining during warmer weather. There is also a good sized covered porch off the kitchen. The property is well stocked with games, tv and entertainment options as well as bicycles and beaches toys. The two levels of bedrooms worked very well with plenty of space for everyone with great layouts and views. The bedding was very comfortable. The bathrooms were also a pleasure to use with high quality fixtures in each one. The house felt brand new and was done to a really nice high standard with everything spotlessly clean. It was a pleasure staying in this area. We liked the beaches and boardwalk and a short walk from the house there were shops including Mueller's Bakery which was very popular with our group! We loved the Bay Head area and hope to be able to come back again for a summer visit. When we do we will definitely be staying at the Lakeside House! Thank you for having us!"

  • perfect family vacation

"Lovely experience for our entire extended family including 3 grown children & spouses and 2 grandsons. Close proximity to the beach and beautiful sunsets on front deck. A real "beachy" house-not updated but comfortable. Just bring your food and done!"
