  • Beach house for a great family vacation- without the aggravation of owning!!

"This is a perfect beach vacation rental for up to 10 people of any ages. We had three generations and everyone had their space- plenty of room on the three decks and living areas. No problem sitting 10 people at the table for dinner inside or outside. The location is great- only 3 houses from the beach which has a lifeguard right there. Kids were able to go back and forth themselves. House has many games and puzzles which kept the kids busy. Aslo had beach chairs, boogie boards etc. Close to bay activities including kayaking, swimming and fishing."

  • Relaxing Beach Week

"Three generations shared this home for a wonderful week on LBI. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 young children. It was convenient to have everything on one level. The house is well equipped with comfortable bedding, televisions in 3 bedrooms, updated baths, and a functional kitchen. We used the deck frequently for morning coffee and afternoon drinks and board games. The short walk to the steps leading over the dunes to the beach and the private lane was a "must-have" for the family with young children. Lovely neighborhood. No safety worries whatsoever. The owner (Jonathan) provided numerous beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and beach toys. The kids loved the outdoor shower. Our family likes the quietude of Harvey Cedars, yet we were fairly close to services in Surf City. Better than previous years when we rented further north. During our week we visited the lighthouse, had dinner at the Arlington and at Tucker's, ordered seafood from Boulevard Clams, had drinks at the Plantation, rode bikes, visited Fantasy Island, shopped all around, went to Sunset Park playground twice and of course enjoyed beach time. The beach was uncrowded and clean. Dolphins even passed by to entertain the grandkids! We look forward to returning next year. Jonathan was very easy to work with and very helpful."

  • The owners make all the difference!

"My family and I have been renting houses at the Jersey shore for the last seven years, and this was, by far, our best experience yet. The owners are locals who are close by, care about the house and are very generous with tips and suggestions to make your stay in Harvey Cedars the best it can be. The house itself was very well maintained and had all of the amenities that we could have asked for. The pool was clean and beautiful. The views from the living room, dining room and front balconies were spectacular. Just look up and the ocean is right there! And the roof deck was a spectacular spot for watching the waves during the day, catching the sunset over the bay at dusk and star gazing at night. The location is fantastic. The house is on a very narrow part of the Island, so the beach, which is a short stroll from the house, is never very crowded. It is also a a quick walk to Sunset Park for the playground or the Wednesday night concerts. And it is a very short drive to the market, restaurants and shops in Harvey Cedars. But as wonderful as the house and the location are, it is the owners who make the biggest difference. Having owners who are part of the community and truly care about the house and their guests is a refreshing change. They make this house a home and a truly wonderful spot for a family vacation."

  • Living is easy

"This was the first time we stayed here and hope to return next summer. The house (we rented both floors) was spacious and very clean (including the great outdoor shower) and made for a lot of fun times. The two decks were great and well used - for morning coffee to watching the meteor shower. A few houses from the bay made it so easy to stroll down at whatever time of day, especially nice for sunset. A quick walk to the ocean across the boulevard and up a dune brought us to a lovely, expansive, and un-crowded beach. Plenty of parking, quiet neighborhood, and close to Surf City added to the easiness of staying here and we hope to continue to do so again and again."
