  • Perfect Vacation home!

"I rented this home online without seeing it first. We have been renting in LBI for about 30 years mostly in Barnegat Light. I picked this home because it reminded me of one of the first homes we rented and I got nostalgic when I saw the screened--in porch and the jalousie windows in the pictures. I was hoping it was as nice in person and it was better than I imagined! Beautiful, very clean home with a lot of room! I didn't even realize the back house would be as roomy as it was with its own bathroom and shower. It had a large kitchen, sitting area with tv, and good sized bedrooms! I loved the screened-in porch where we did jigsaw puzzles. It was a short walk to the ocean, the lighthouse and the bay. We rode our bikes or walked to everything we needed! We did not need the AC in September so the air flowed nicely through the windows with the fans. Very relaxing and no problem with anything! I may rent again next year!"

  • Roomy, clean, steps to the beach & town.

"I was pleasantly surprised on how roomy & bright the house was. The owner was very nice & helpful. Upon arrival the house was spotless, it smelled & looked great. There was a new Sandpaper & an information packet on where to eat and things to do. There was 9 of us total & everyone had their own room & bed. There's even a bonus room downstairs where the kids hung out, watched movies and played games while the adults prepared some of the best meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Chairs & umbrellas were provided to the guarded beach just steps from the house. It was great easy access when the little ones had to use the potty. And we didn't even have to go into the house with our sandy toes. There's an outdoor shower & bathroom ground level. Across the street 2 blocks down is a guarded bay beach. Our kids loved it because there wasn't any big waves, the ice cream truck came every 20 minutes & there's even bathrooms there. (Note, go left on the bay beach, there's a perfect shady spot covered by the trees) We rented bikes & biked into town everyday. Either it was for breakfast sandwiches, pizza, great seafood @Harvey Cedars Seafood restaurant, an adults only wonderful dining @Black Eyed Susan's, a night cap at the Plantation with live music or ice cream. This house is great for larger families! 'll definitely be back next year!"

  • Great House, great location, easy access to the beach.

"The house is very clean and well maintained with a well equipped kitchen which is open to the living room and dining area that had a series of sliding doors that opened to a beautiful deck with views of both the ocean and bay. (pictures on VRBO don’t do this house justice). Beach chairs, Tags, Umbrellas and Boogie boards were provided. We had 10 people, 6 adults and 4 children, the house could easily accommodate more."

  • Everything we hoped for and more

"From my first correspondence with Tim until the morning we checked out, everything was positive. Reservations were easy, questions were answered promptly and the house and neighborhood met our families expectations. The description of the house was accurate and we were able to accommodate our multiple families of 4, 2, 2, and 1. The first floor of the house has recently been upgraded and the second floor has the beach cape feeling. Air conditioning throughout made for comfortable temperatures when needed but our party enjoyed the sea breeze and of course the screened in porch was the biggest hit. There was also a rooftop deck that provided some wonderful star gazing and a.m. sunrises. The backyard had plenty of space for beach equipment storage, outdoor shower, picnic table, outdoor dinning table and chairs and umbrella, and grill. Approximately ten houses to the beach and three houses from the boulevard (don't let the quick access to the boulevard deter you, the house was so quiet we never heard the street noise at all!). A quaint neighborhood with Wawa for the conveniences, Marvels for the donuts, fritzes liquors, and dinning at Woodies too, Terrace Tavern, and the California Grill. We couldn't forget the ice cream on the corner. Of course there was quick access by car or foot to the putt putt on 34th Street, or Bay Village in Beach Haven. We also decided to go fishing in the Atlantic and traveled up to Barnegat Light for a fishing charter but there are also charters in Beach Haven too. The guarded beach was wonderful at the end of our street too. The neighbors were friendly. Our members of our party have been coming to LBI for 12 years, 30 years, 20 years and 30 years and we all agreed that this house met our beach vacation needs, at a fair price, in a nice neighborhood, and quality owners. We would definitely stay here again."
