  • Small ,clean bungalow but overpriced.

"Owner very responsive via email if any issues. Overall its a nice clean bungalow but very small-bungalow homes are tiny probably like 1100 -1200 sq ft Nice big backyard recently redone with a large picnic table and umbrella. Good outdoor shower and large clothesline to hang towels. Inside though was an issue for us and the kitchen was a TINY box. There was a table but so tight and you could barely move to get into your chair since counters or appliances behind 2 of the chairs. Also the only "updated" appliance was the refrigerator. Oven and Dishwasher were ancient. Cabinet space was slim and no counter space at all except one tiny piece in front of coffee maker. The range is a very old 24 inch oven and the cooktop had cooking grates that would not sit flat so food in pan cooked unevenly. DW did work well enough though but very loud. Its on its last legs too. If you like to cook your meals in this is not the place. No island or counters to prep food. However there was a very nice Weber barbecue out back and we decided to just barbecue all of our meals. That worked out fine since we had all sunny days and no rain. Some of the pots were scratched on non stick surface and not good. Plenty of plates and glasses. No very large pots found to cook corn or lobster. Since the kitchen table was so tiny you could eat outside on picnic table and fit 6 people very comfortably. Inside one TV in LR and one bath which was not updated. Looks like original bathtub with rust stains. Water pressure in this place was below expectations. We took all of our showers outside in outdoor shower. Washer was in the kitchen taking up room and dryer in the garage. Location to beach was very close and Acme right down the block. House has 4 bedrooms but no bath upstairs for the 2 bedrooms. This house had no Sandy damage according to the owner FYI. The street had mostly nicely kept homes some redone on the outside at least."

  • Beautiful beach house with tons of amenities

"This beach house was pure comfort. From the moment we pulled up we were in awe of how beautiful it was. The exterior of the home is pristine, modern, and stunning. One of the first luxuries of the home we quickly took advantage of was the elevator. Unloading all of our luggage easily and then put it right into the elevator delivering it to the floor of our choice. It allowed us to unload everything quickly and get right to the beach, which is always the objective. In addition, having an elevator with two little ones that want to be held all the time and grandparents was more then we could ever ask for. There are too many amenities to mention in the home in this review but some of my favorites were the showers, the large screen tv, and the Weber grill. The shower had 3 different shower heads including an overhead rain one that was AMAZING! I could stand there all day but needed to get to the beach. The tv was huge which had cable and Netflix on it so we took advantage of that after putting the little ones down for the night. I enjoyed a glass of wine on one of the beautiful decks while the hubby had fun grilling away. The multiple decks were perfect for sunning yourself with a good book during the day or drinking your morning coffee and reading the daily news in the morning. The roof deck is a great spot for watching sunsets. A huge plus for us was all the family friendly gear the homeowners provided for our vacation. Kudos to the homeowners for thinking of everything possible a family may need to enjoy a beach vacation. To name a few: a stroller for the baby and attached glider board for the toddler, pack and play, wagon, beach toys, umbrella, beach chairs, beach buggy to carry all the beach gear in, beach tent, bikes for the whole family with baby seat attachment, and numerous beach games. All of the gear helped us cut back on the exorbitant amount of stuff you need to pack when going on a beach vacation with two littles. They also had a second refrigerator in the garage which is always a huge help. We thoroughly enjoyed every day of our stay at this luxury, contemporary, beach house and couldn't have dreamt of a more beautiful home for our yearly family vacation in LBI."

  • Absolutely amazing home in perfect location with all of the amenities!

"We just had the most amazing stay at this home. Keith was so easy to deal with, honest, quick to respond, and flexible. The pictures on HomeAway are good but don't do this house justice. It is a gorgeous house, spacious, full of light, tons of hangout spaces (indoor and outdoor) and absolutely stunning decks (including a roof deck) with seating areas with views of both the bay and beach side. The beach is a 5min walk - it is beautiful, clean, and not crowded (plus, the house comes with kids beach toys, boogie boards, etc..). Also, this home is in a great location - close to the grocery store, walk to shops and restaurants, easy to access Fantasy Island (10mins). We had a big group (8 adults and 4 children) and had plenty of room (and plenty of bathrooms). It was truly wonderful and we are so grateful to have found this house."

  • Fantastic bay location!

"Beautiful home situated on the bay with a short walk to the beach. The home was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Sabrina was very quick to respond to all my inquiries. My family had a wonderful time with our boat docked next to the house. Would certainly return!!"
