  • Perfect Beach Getaway!

"I recently stayed in this house with a bunch of girlfriends for a weekend in June! We had an amazing time, mostly contributing to the house! It is directly on the ocean and could not have a better view. The house is huge and very well maintained. We all felt so comfortable and at home. The outside deck was where we tried to spend most of our time as it is huge and perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. We really felt lucky that we were able to stay at this house! I would HIGHLY recommend it for big groups. Great common areas and all the bedrooms basically had their own bathrooms or shared with another room. More than enough space! Stay here for a nice relaxing & fun vaca!!"

  • Fabulous place to spend a week!

"My family, including four children, two daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren spent an awesome week at Hanover House. Its location is perfect - right on the beach and very near a lifeguard. The 15 included beach passes were plenty for all of us. The huge kitchen, dining area, living room, and two decks were plenty of room for all 11 of us to spread out. We swam, flew kites, did jigsaw puzzles, played games, and took short trips all over the island. Our 11-year old was thrilled that it was just a short block's walk to the bakery and ice-cream store, and our 7-year-old was delighted that the arcade an mini-golf were also just a short walk away. The house is in an extremely quiet neighborhood with plenty of on-site parking. The house is decorated in a lovely casual beach theme. The kitchens are both well equipped, and the property manager met us to give us an orientation and answer all of our questions. Can't wait to return!"

  • 28th Street cottage

"My wife and I have been renting this cottage every year for many years. One of the reasons we keep returning is because we think it is the ideal summer cottage. While the outside may look dated (compared to today's "McMansions"), inside it has been totally renovated with bright shore-appropriate colors and furniture. Now that it has been raised, it offers a front deck on which to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or to savor your morning coffee. While there is air-conditioning, being elevated allows you to open the windows and better enjoy the wonderful sea breezes. It is bright and open inside, and roomier than it may appear from the outside. The kitchen has marble counter-tops and the latest appliances, along with every utensil one would want to prepare home-cooked meals during your stay (as we do.) The first floor has a living room adjoining the kitchen, ample seating, a large TV, a full bathroom with a washer and dryer, and a master bedroom with a comfortable queen-size bed. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with two twin beds, a sitting room with an additional TV, and a half bath -- ideal if you have children or drop-in guests. And with the newly remodeled Acme supermarket just two miles down the boulevard, it is no longer necessary to travel all the way over to the mainland for your grocery needs. Needless to say, we plan to return yearly for as many years as the good Lord lets us."
