  • Perfect house for large groups or multiple families

"The house was just as described in the listing. It is beautiful with quality furnishings throughout. The 3rd floor deck/cupola is amazing and has a beautiful view of the surroundings. The downstairs deck is unusually large with tons of seating area. A/C is a nice plus. Would highly recommend for large groups and 3-4 families."

  • Roomy, clean, steps to the beach & town.

"I was pleasantly surprised on how roomy & bright the house was. The owner was very nice & helpful. Upon arrival the house was spotless, it smelled & looked great. There was a new Sandpaper & an information packet on where to eat and things to do. There was 9 of us total & everyone had their own room & bed. There's even a bonus room downstairs where the kids hung out, watched movies and played games while the adults prepared some of the best meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Chairs & umbrellas were provided to the guarded beach just steps from the house. It was great easy access when the little ones had to use the potty. And we didn't even have to go into the house with our sandy toes. There's an outdoor shower & bathroom ground level. Across the street 2 blocks down is a guarded bay beach. Our kids loved it because there wasn't any big waves, the ice cream truck came every 20 minutes & there's even bathrooms there. (Note, go left on the bay beach, there's a perfect shady spot covered by the trees) We rented bikes & biked into town everyday. Either it was for breakfast sandwiches, pizza, great seafood @Harvey Cedars Seafood restaurant, an adults only wonderful dining @Black Eyed Susan's, a night cap at the Plantation with live music or ice cream. This house is great for larger families! 'll definitely be back next year!"

  • Beautiful house! Perfect family vacation spot!

"House is stunning. Spent every evening on large rooftop enjoying sunsets. Amazing views of both ocean and bay from rooftop. Ocean views from most rooms in house. Very short walk to beach. Beach is fantastic. Grill in backyard worked very well. Used several chairs and an umbrella from spacious garage. Outdoor shower so nice. Many extra blankets and pillows. Bathrooms beautifully tiled. Stunning open floor plan kitchen, family and dining room. Used gorgeous table for 8 many meals. Kitchen fully stocked. Drip coffee maker here. Filters in cabinet. Walking distance to Jersey Girl Restaurant. Owners were very kind, helpful and accommodating."

  • Great Family Vacation Get Away

"We stayed here for a week, Saturday to Saturday and had the time of our lives. Our family loved the beach, the quiet Barneget Light neighborhood and the house. The beach was very secluded with very few others and a lifeguard right at the beach entry. My wife is a photographer and was able to capture the Barneget Light scenery. We were able to bike and walk to the lighthouse, to get breakfast at Mustache Bill's, to get ice cream at Poppy's, to visit Viking Village and to go fishing on the bay & inlet. The house & yard layout allowed the kid's plenty of room to play and spread out. There is even a view of the lighthouse from one of the windows. We are avid vacationers and this year have stayed in other beaches in NJ, MD and FL. Barneget Light is by far the most secluded and quiet and this house fit the bill for our family's needs. We will need to go back to this house again soon!!!"
