"I grew up coming to LBI as a child and had the pleasure of staying on the first floor for one week with my girlfriend and another couple. VERY CLEAN, white sand beaches right outside the door. We loved sleeping with the sliding glass doors open and listening to the ocean waves. I will definitely return to this location. Tips: There are taxis and shuttles but I would rent or bring bikes. Bike rental is one block over. Downtown beach haven is blocks away with bars/restaurants."

  • Love LBI & this house

"What a wonderful , cozy apartment and perfect location! Central to everything on LBI yet just steps from the beach. We drove off LBI's main road onto a quiet street and were instantly charmed. You'd never know you were so close to the shops. The accommodations were just right for our group of five...two children, their parents and me, Grammy. Did not need the pull-out couch since my granddaughter slept in her Pack n Play in her parents room. Everything we needed was right there...we didn't have to shop for anything except groceries. Loved the deck and that my grandson could safely ride a bike on the street. The owners were very helpful and allowed us to hold my granddaughter's birthday party at the garage. Their forethought and kindness helped us to make priceless memories. The beach was close (wonderful for the kids and Grammy!) and at that point is wide and very clean. Early every morning the beach tractors are out cleaning & smoothing out the sand. A very short walk to the top of the dunes and a bench gave us the chance each day to see a wonderful sunrise and watch the moon rise over the some incredible photos :) You can get down to the beach two ways: a traditional wooden walkway or a wooden handicapped walkway. If you like Key Lime pie there is a bakery nearby which sells an incredible one :) Many thanks to our gracious hosts for sharing their little corner of the seaside with us. Final note....grandson & his dad were able to capture quite a few pokemon, too!"

  • Clean, comfortable, and convenient dockside home.

"From the pleasant greetings upon arrival to the day we sadly had to leave, we enjoyed our stay at Joe and Denise's. Every kitchen gadget or appliance we could think of needing, they had. All the amenities were there. The pantry and spice closet were pleasantly stocked with often forgotten necessities. The rooms were tastefully decorated and appointed and the house was airy and brightly lit by the large windows thoughout the house. We needed the AC when we first got there but later we were able to open the windows and get a good breeze when the weather became cool. The outdoor shower was divine and very much needed since we all loved kayaking off the low dock to the sand flats a short distance away in the bay. My daughter loved swimming in the warm, shallow water of the bay and my son really took to crabbing and found many in the marsh nearby. I loved the scenic biking to and from the light house. The beach was a leisurely stroll away, with the Viking village and Whites Market convenient stops along the way. My husband liked fishing in the chanel and the inlet. The fish cleaning station got put to good use. But the most memorable things were the turquoise waters at the beach that were breathtaking and the wonderful weather that we were blessed with. Thank you for letting us stay at your charming, warm, inviting home."

  • Beautiful Home. Great Location.

"We have been renting in Beach Haven for 14 years and this house was by far, one of the best! Newly renovated... the house was very clean and had all the amenities that you would want, with space for everyone. We arrived with our three boys on a Saturday and didn't want to leave (ages 14, 13 and 10). We enjoyed giving them a little independence since we were so close to town. It was very convenient that the mini golf and ice cream shop was only one block away. They walked everywhere and we had peace of mind knowing they weren't far, while we relaxed on the font porch! Would highly recommend this property. Owners were very nice and accommodating which is also a plus."
