"We stayed at this Seaside Height home and had a wonderful time. Our first reservation in Seaside Heights was abruptly cancelled with no warning and we scrambled to find a new place. We called on this house and are happy we did. Jeff was great to work with! We e-mailed constantly back and forth and he was very helpful. The house was immaculate and had central air, a garage, several comfortable bedrooms, and an overall nice location away from the boardwalk but close enough for us to walk.
Only cautions with the house is that it is two floors (three, if you count walking up from garage)... that wasn't a problem for us but could be if you were older. There was also no condiments to cook with which many rental homes do have which makes you have to go out and buy your own. This was the first house that we had rented that had nothing like that to offer. There was plenty of bowls and cookware which was great. The home is comfortable, clean, has a great front porch to watch the sunrise and set each day. The distance to the boardwalk may be a little long for some but was fine for us. If you have kids, it is closer to walk to the calmer bay side which is better for small children.
Overall, a really nice home - the hosts were great to work with and accommodated us with a special need of which we were greatly appreciative. The only thing to keep in mind is there is nothing in fridge or cabinets ( basic condiments, etc.) or linens and towels - you must bring all your own which, if you know that, you will be fine and will enjoy the home. We missed that on our contract and that was truly our fault but we had a person come a day later and brought the linens we needed so all was OK. This was s great place at a great price. Seaside Heights is an interesting place - tacky shops, funky bars and loads of carnival type games --- but so much fun. The waves on the beach are great. It is a place you have to experience - at least once!! Thank you for a wonderful week!"
