  • 28th Street cottage

"My wife and I have been renting this cottage every year for many years. One of the reasons we keep returning is because we think it is the ideal summer cottage. While the outside may look dated (compared to today's "McMansions"), inside it has been totally renovated with bright shore-appropriate colors and furniture. Now that it has been raised, it offers a front deck on which to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or to savor your morning coffee. While there is air-conditioning, being elevated allows you to open the windows and better enjoy the wonderful sea breezes. It is bright and open inside, and roomier than it may appear from the outside. The kitchen has marble counter-tops and the latest appliances, along with every utensil one would want to prepare home-cooked meals during your stay (as we do.) The first floor has a living room adjoining the kitchen, ample seating, a large TV, a full bathroom with a washer and dryer, and a master bedroom with a comfortable queen-size bed. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with two twin beds, a sitting room with an additional TV, and a half bath -- ideal if you have children or drop-in guests. And with the newly remodeled Acme supermarket just two miles down the boulevard, it is no longer necessary to travel all the way over to the mainland for your grocery needs. Needless to say, we plan to return yearly for as many years as the good Lord lets us."

  • Great Location! Great House!

"We rented this house for 2 weeks in August for our children and grandchildren. We were 6 adults and 4 children and there was plenty of room. The whole house has been renovated and we really appreciated the modern amenities and the beachy chic furniture and décor. The five comfortable bedrooms accommodated our group very nicely. The walk to the beach was made easier because there is a traffic light at corner to cross main blvd. It was really nice to be close to the bay to take the kids crabbing or to kayak. And the beautiful sunsets every night! The location is perfect for all ages. You can walk or bike to the amusements and restaurants and there's a public park playground on street behind. This is the first time we ever rented down the shore as we had a family house of our own for many years. The owners of this house are so accommodating and wonderful people. The house was very clean and very comfortable. We would go back and we definitely recommend it to others."

  • Perfect Memorial Day Weekend Stay

"This was our first time to LBI..........The weather was perfect and the house was perfect. For my family the house was very spacious, kitchen was very updated and had all the extras you would need to make use of it. The other nice add-ons was being able to grill and make use of the deck and yard for the small kids. The location was perfect for having young kids since the Bay and playground was a 2 minute walk. The days we went to the beach it was about a 5 minute walk if that. The house was very clean and Mark was great to deal with from the initial contact right up until it was time to enjoy the trip. Would definitely recommend, and rent with Mark again. Tom F."

  • Perfect!

"My wife and 2 teen girls spent a week here, wonderful experience. Clean and well kept is an understatement. The home is not far from the center of town but far enough to avoid the traffic. Sandy Hook within walking distance and the beach was never crowded. You will not be disappointed!"
