  • Living is easy

"This was the first time we stayed here and hope to return next summer. The house (we rented both floors) was spacious and very clean (including the great outdoor shower) and made for a lot of fun times. The two decks were great and well used - for morning coffee to watching the meteor shower. A few houses from the bay made it so easy to stroll down at whatever time of day, especially nice for sunset. A quick walk to the ocean across the boulevard and up a dune brought us to a lovely, expansive, and un-crowded beach. Plenty of parking, quiet neighborhood, and close to Surf City added to the easiness of staying here and we hope to continue to do so again and again."

  • Perfect for a beach vacation

"Our three-generation, multi-cultural family found this home perfect for our needs. "Nana" took over the third floor suite, while the other two generations occupied the middle floor. There is a crib on the third floor for a family with a very small baby, but our 18-month-old was able to use the porta-crib we brought. The one in the house is too heavy to shift from its niche. On the first floor, we found a kitchen supplied with everything we needed--the expected dishes and flatware, but also a full range of excellent cookware and other amenities. The washer and dryer in the basement had a full workout, and were well up to the job. In the garage we found, again, all we needed. There is a bike with a child seat and helmet, so Dad could take the kids for bike rides on the boardwalk. There is also a trolley to haul everything down to the beach, including mats, towels, chairs, and umbrellas. We supplied our own towels but everything else was there. But most of all, what was comfortable for us was the diversity of the residents of the street the house is on, with both white and African-American neighbors, as well as the beach which hosted all generations and ethnicities. As our family is itself multi-cultural it was a great blessing for us to have the children in a place where they easily fit in. And on the beach itself, I noticed no quarrels or tensions between people. Nearby there are good restaurants and interesting walks in both directions along the boardwalk. In short, we had a perfect stay in a clean and well-supplied house, in an interesting town with a great beach. What more could you ask for?"

  • Great Weekend

"We stayed in the lower unit for a nice weekend away with some friends. The space was great! Clean and spacious. Short walk to the beach and great location for restaurants. Random, but the outdoor shower's water pressure was AWESOME! John was a pleasure to communicate with, everything was done very promptly. I would definitely recommend."

  • Excellent LBI choice!

"We traveled from California to LBI and were so grateful to stay at this home! Just a few feet away from the ocean, amazing views, lovely furnishings and a large deck (with shade) to relax! The home is in a great section of Harvey Cedars, close to restaurants, deli's, ice cream shops and boat rentals. We will definitely stay here again!"
