  • Luxury Shore Vacations Have Just Been Redefined!

"From the moment we stepped into this home, there was an immediate WOW! We were so impressed with this beautiful Victorian home. The front foyer was adorned with original cherry wood work, a grand staircase and a Victorian stained glass window. Then there was that gourmet kitchen we are still talking about-- complete with high end appliances, a wet bar (including a wine fridge!) and seating for 8 around the granite counter top. Truly there was no amenity left out, including a laundry room and powder room right off the kitchen. The formal dining room was large with seating for 12, and the first floor also boasted of two living room areas complete with flat screen televisions. The second floor had 3 ½ large tastefully decorated bedrooms, two modern baths, and a rear staircase that lead directly to the kitchen for those midnight snacks. The third floor also had two bedrooms and a sitting area in the turret where we could read and take in the town sights. All the rooms had air conditioners and ceiling fans for those hot summer days. Oh, did we mention the cozy front porch where we enjoyed afternoon cocktails while people-watching? But what would a summer vacation be without the beach, dining, shopping, nightlife, or a horse-drawn carriage ride around town?! This home couldn’t have been more perfect for all of the above. The location is right in the heart of Cape May. After spending a day at one of the most pristine beaches New Jersey has to offer (which is only a block away), we were literally steps away from the Washington Street Mall. With quaint shops and plenty of places to eat and relax – we did it all-- from hot dogs and ice cream to fine dining. One evening we decided to whip up a gourmet meal and entertain at home. Fortunately a grocery store was only a few blocks away. Although almost everything was within walking distance, we did venture out a few times in the car. With the 2 off-street parking spaces in the backyard, we never had to worry about parking. That was a big bonus! Nothing could have made our vacation experience at this home any better! We highly recommend this rental!"

  • Great place for a family vacation!

"A great house for a family vacation. There was plenty of space for adults (8) and children (5) to romp around. We even had extra bedrooms. It was wonderful to walk just one block to the beach and the promenade. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, you name it. Outdoor shower was super convenient. Wayne was very responsive and wonderful to work with."

  • Another wonderful trip to Cape May

"This home is ideal for our large family gathering. We are always treated very well by the owners and the realtor (Ami) makes sure that our vacations are first rate. We have been coming here for five years now and always rent this house. Each year, the owners add some enhancement to improve the place (this year it was a second refrigerator). We are literally a short walk from the beach, the Washington Street Mall or any number of interesting stores and restaurants. Coming to this house in Cape May each year feels like not only a vacation, but like coming home. Highly recommended."

  • Celebration Week at The Abbey

"Wow - What a wonderful celebration week we enjoyed at the Abbey! My family traveled from PA, GA and Texas to enjoy a family reunion at the Jersey Shore! We were celebrating my mom's 80th birthday and my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary. The Abbey was the perfect spot for a vacation! A short walk to both the water and the town-what could be better!? The updated kitchen areas were spectacular as we made many meals and enjoyed them at the long dining table. One night we ate outside at the 3 round picnic tables-another great spot! The Abbey is full of history and beauty. I have to say that the flowers all around the house were spectacular! Every morning we had our coffee on one of the porches so we could enjoy the flowers! Cocktails were enjoyed there as well! Thank you to the owner, Barbara, who graciously answered all of my questions that I emailed before our trip! The memories from The Abbey will live on in my heart!"
