  • A great Thanksgiving stay!

"My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay over Thanksgiving, in this lovely, clean, cottage. We were especially grateful to be able to bring our two small dogs along with us. Mike and Lisa were most hospitable and recommended restaurants and stores for us to check out. The cottage is quiet, private, beautifully decorated and included everything we needed to make our stay comfortable: towels, sheets, pillows, dishes, coffee maker, wifi, and even books and DVD’s. We love Cape May. So we will be returning to visit in the future and hope to stay at this cottage again. It is the perfect place for a couple to stay, especially if they would like to bring their pet. Thanks Lisa and Mike!"

  • Home away from Home

"My family and I were so delighted with all the provisions the cottage provided in the kitchen and around the house. Since a few of us suffer food allergies it was so helpful to have a full kitchen and the Shop Rite supermarket had everything we needed to make delicious meals everyday (which saves money from eating out). Each day we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the screened-in back porch with a glass of wine. The house is far enough from all the tourists but yet close enough to drive quickly to the beach (would recommend to park on the streets that do not have parking meters, and beach is 2 or 3 blocks away), as well as the cute town with all the fun stores to shop. However, what we enjoyed the most was the privacy we had staying at a house and appreciated Darlene's flexibility in working with the cost since we did not stay a full week. If we come back to beautiful Cape May, we would definitely come back to this house. Highly recommend it."

  • Quiet and Peaceful & Wonderful Host

"Just like another reviewer, I was hesitant to write a review about Dragonfly Cottage as it is a perfect, little, hidden gem in Cape May and we want it all to ourselves. First off, Stephanie is a superb host. We had excellent communication even before we set foot into Dragonfly Cottage. The cottage is just the right size for one or two. It is set up beautifully with a queen bed, a small table with two chairs, a comfy chair for sitting and reading, The room has a gas fireplace for heat during any cold nights during those months when you would need it. We did use it once on a second trip and it warmed the room up nicely. There is A/C with a remote which worked very well. A ceiling fan overhead with a light for air circulation. On a corner stand is a TV (32"?) with Xfinity cable. Nice perk to have when you want to watch a show or two from the bed. To the side of the bed in another corner is a small fridge, a microwave, cups and dishes, a toaster, a large Keurig coffee maker and plenty of Keurig coffee and tea along with regular chamomile tea. The bathroom was done quite elegantly with a round sink that sits on top. There is plenty of room to move around. Fresh, clean towels and wash cloths were provided. The windows have shades that move up and down easily. This is a nice perk as we have been in other places that might have curtains but no shades, etc. They block the morning light which helps when you are trying to sleep. We did not spend much time outside in the back, however, if you did there is a gas grill and places to sit. It is a large back yard and we did mosey around the yard a bit. It is a very short drive to the main happenings of Cape May. Depending on what season you plan to come, the parking can be good or difficult to find spots. Stephanie does offer use of bikes, however, we did not take advantage of that. The entire enchanted cottage is clean and well maintained. If there are any concerns or questions, you can always all or text Stephanie. During another stay, I had a question and she called right away with the answer. I should say don't come to Dragonfly Cottage because it is so bad, however, that would be such a lie my nose would grow longer than a telephone wire (as the old poem and song go). If you are coming, please keep it a secret, little gem just between us, yourself and Stephanie. Thank you, Stephanie, for the beautiful cottage and the for being a most friendly host."

  • Wonderful spot!

"We felt right at home here. The hosts were friendly, helpful and gracious. The apartment was comfortable, sunny and spacious. We enjoyed the bikes they provided, the fresh veggies from the garden and the resident chickens...as well as the refreshing pool. It was easily accessible to all the Cape May attractions. We recommend it highly"
