  • Celebration Week at The Abbey

"Wow - What a wonderful celebration week we enjoyed at the Abbey! My family traveled from PA, GA and Texas to enjoy a family reunion at the Jersey Shore! We were celebrating my mom's 80th birthday and my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary. The Abbey was the perfect spot for a vacation! A short walk to both the water and the town-what could be better!? The updated kitchen areas were spectacular as we made many meals and enjoyed them at the long dining table. One night we ate outside at the 3 round picnic tables-another great spot! The Abbey is full of history and beauty. I have to say that the flowers all around the house were spectacular! Every morning we had our coffee on one of the porches so we could enjoy the flowers! Cocktails were enjoyed there as well! Thank you to the owner, Barbara, who graciously answered all of my questions that I emailed before our trip! The memories from The Abbey will live on in my heart!"

  • Charming home in perfect location!

"Our family of 5 + some friends enjoyed a lovely stay at this home. The location is ideal - only 2 blocks from the beach and walking distance to all of our favorite places in Cape May. The home is very welcoming and comfortable. I believe it was build in 1890? and has all the charm of the Victorians from that era located right in the historic district. At night the horse and carriages clip clop by on their way to their starting point for tours. The back deck is perfect for grilling dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed. The front porch is a great place to unwind - complete with rocking chairs. Our kids are all in their 20's and they fell in love with the place too. The owner is wonderful to deal with - you will not be disappointed if you rent this lovely home!"

  • Another wonderful trip to Cape May

"This home is ideal for our large family gathering. We are always treated very well by the owners and the realtor (Ami) makes sure that our vacations are first rate. We have been coming here for five years now and always rent this house. Each year, the owners add some enhancement to improve the place (this year it was a second refrigerator). We are literally a short walk from the beach, the Washington Street Mall or any number of interesting stores and restaurants. Coming to this house in Cape May each year feels like not only a vacation, but like coming home. Highly recommended."

  • Beautiful Little House

"This is a great little house a short bike ride from the beach, or a 10-15 minute walk. There is also a little nature area a few residential blocks away, which my dog and I found very enjoyable. The house is comfortable and meets all reasonable needs. Included are a few bonuses such as bikes and beach accommodations. House was clean and better in person than in picture. I especially like the take beer, leave beer policy. There was no beer when we arrived, but there was rum and wine. We left extra beer and alcohol for future residents. We had a little trouble with one bicycle, but the other two were in tact, and we can hardly blame our hosts for a "bonus" gone awry. I work with bikes a lot and stuff happens. This house isn't "right next to the beach," but it is in the heart of Cape May, is clean, comfortable, and likely to provide you and your guests with an awesome getaway!"
