"My family and I were so delighted with all the provisions the cottage provided in the kitchen and around the house. Since a few of us suffer food allergies it was so helpful to have a full kitchen and the Shop Rite supermarket had everything we needed to make delicious meals everyday (which saves money from eating out). Each day we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the screened-in back porch with a glass of wine. The house is far enough from all the tourists but yet close enough to drive quickly to the beach (would recommend to park on the streets that do not have parking meters, and beach is 2 or 3 blocks away), as well as the cute town with all the fun stores to shop. However, what we enjoyed the most was the privacy we had staying at a house and appreciated Darlene's flexibility in working with the cost since we did not stay a full week. If we come back to beautiful Cape May, we would definitely come back to this house. Highly recommend it."

"If you like the quiet, the serenity of a safe community, and enjoy walking to your favorite spots, this is the place for you! Ideal for two families! Kim's place is clean, tidy, and it has all the amenities necessary for a home-away-from-home; all appliances are functional, and we love the outdoor shower! The interior decor compliments a beach vacation. We looked forward to the end of our day hanging out in the warmth of the house, reminiscing the day's events or sipping coffee on the back porch early in the morning anticipating the day at the beach. Affordable for the location. We did not mind the two blocks from the beach - traffic is practically nonexistent The 20-minute stroll to Washington Square and to our favorite restaurants is pleasant and quite scenic if you love architecture. Love walking pass Cape May's beautiful homes with their exquisite landscaped yards. Previous stays were downtown, although accessible to our favorite shops, we had to put up with the street noise at night. At Kim's place, we could sleep with the windows open on cool nights undisturbed, and peacefully. We look forward to our next vacation knowing we can count on Kim's hospitality. She is quick to respond to your requests to meet your needs."

  • Beautiful In Every Way

"Our family of 7 (5 humans; 2 dogs) stayed here over Thanksgiving, 2016, and we couldn't have chosen a better place! This home's location in West Cape May is close to everything, plus you have views of the most stunning sunsets and the lighthouse. The kitchen is well equipped, and the chef's stove provided ample space to prepare a complete Thanksgiving dinner. The house is comfortably furnished and clean, and its 3 levels provide ample areas so no one is on top of each other. Each level has its own deck with plenty of furniture to enjoy the outdoor views. There is more than ample parking for your cars. The owner, John, is great to work with, and answers his phone and emails promptly. We would recommend dinner at The Lobster House or The Merion Inn; and breakfast at George's Place, if you plan on eating out once or twice. In conclusion, you cannot go wrong in renting this beautiful home for any season; and this is a dog-friendly accommodation, as well."

  • Cape May Birding Weekend

"The home was prefect for our group during our Cape May birding weekend. Plenty for room for everyone a great front porch and rear deck (which we used to grill one evening - while the hunter's moon was rising) and to relax on after a long day of birding. The home was very clean, well furnished, had comfortable beds, plenty of hot water for 6 adults taking showers, and we had no other issues during our stay...the owner communication was excellent. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in the Cape May area - it was within walking distance to everything and the beach. Thank You. Jim"
