  • Great location, great landlord!

"Our large family stayed here for two weeks and had a great stay. The proximity to the beach is fantastic, as is the easement through the dunes for easy access. There is ample off street parking for 3 cars, the modern kitchen and full laundry room were great and the landlord was very helpful and accomodating. Even though you aren't paying beachfront prices, you can still sit on the back porch and enjoy a peekaboo view of the ocean and a nice ocean breeze. We would absolutely recommend this property and any of the other properties this landlord owns without hesitation!"

  • Beautiful, Clean & Up To Date Home!!! Very Close To Beach Access & Has EVERYTHING You'll Need!

"We were very pleased with this home. The way it was decorated was very nice, unlike many shore properties. The leather couch & king size bed were super comfy (and I'm picky about beds, as I don't sleep well in general). The home had LOTS of storage, including a walk-in closet off the family room, a laundry room, another closet in the hall way & closets in all bedrooms, including a walk-in closet in the master bedroom. It also had outdoor, secured storage area for bikes & beach stuff. Another great thing was the house was stocked liked it was someone's primary home - from cleaning products, dish & hand soaps, to some paper products...even a junk drawer with pens, calculator & scissors, etc. We brought a lot of stuff down that we wound up not needing. Propane was provided for the grill as well. My husband kept saying, "I'm waiting for someone to come in the house & say, why are you in my home?" LOL! Of course the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need as well. And I noticed baby items in the walk-in closet (not that we needed them). Another thing that I'm super picky about is cleanliness. But this home was very clean. I'm a little weird about using utensils and kitchen items in rentals, but felt very comfortable in this one. To get to the beach, you just walk out the side door to the back of the home. Walk down the alley way (I think it was 3 houses) to 50th street & walk to the beach access. It was a 5 minute walk max & there was a lifeguard at 50th street beach. The owner's parents live full time on the 2nd floor. His mom was always really nice and helpful when we had questions. The lawn was a beautiful lush green (almost looked fake), with beautiful hydrangeas. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the house had a musty, damp smell (sort of like a basement). I did notice that they had a tub of "Damp Rid" in the hall closet, but I really think they need to get a lot more of them or a dehumidifier (and maybe vents in the bathrooms).. I was in other homes in that area (as we were down for a family reunion) and none of them had that smell. When we got home from the shore, I had to hang my down comforter outside to air out because it carried the smell. This would be the only thing that would hold me back from possibly renting this home again. Hopefully they can fix that - other than that, everything was WONDERFUL!"

  • Absolute Beachfront Gem!

"We just returned from a week long stay and had an amazing family vacation. My husband, daughter, parents, brother and his family rented this house mostly based on location! Being beachfront with young children is priceless! I had only viewed the home online and was a bit apprehensive since it looked older then most of the other available rentals, but based on other reviews, decided it was worth the chance. We were beyond pleased when we arrived. Although the home is older, it was immaculately maintained and extremely well suited for a multi-family vacation. Having two separate, fully equipped, living rooms was an absolute blessing. The adults were able to maintain space and have 'adult' conversations, while still allowing the children plenty of space to do 'kid things'. The house is located on the south end of the island. If you're looking for more of a laid back atmosphere, this is where you want to be. While you still have access to the amenities of Ocean City, being on the Southend gives you a true island vacation feel. We've already reached out to the owner to rent both available units for next year."

  • Most Impressive Mother's Day stay yet

"★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spend Mother's Day weekend every year at the Jersey shore with my family - all 11 of us. This property was worth the extra money that we normally spend. The views were spectacular. The sunrise each morning was worth every single penny of our stay, to be able to watch with coffee in our hands. The kitchen/living/dining room area is spacious and very, very comfortable. I slept in the the twin room and my bed was firm. Other family members reported the same, except one queen was very soft. There were enough dishes, utensils, bowls, etc to accommodate us, but a few extra would be a good idea. If you are planning on cooking, bring press n seal or something because most containers don't have matching lids. Everything worked. Some small issues were brought to owner's attention and he was quick to reply."
