  • wonderful place, helpful owner

"The owner was very helpful while we were booking this, and continued to be pleasant and helpful from our arrival through our exit. The condo was spotless when we arrived-even the fridge was shiny clean inside! The condo has a lot of windows so it was light and airy. The kitchen is well stocked-we had every thing we needed for each meal we made. Two of our members used walkers, so the elevator was essential. The halls are wide enough to accommodate them as well, as was the master bath. On the south end, the area was quiet, the beach was close, and it was only a short drive to the center of the boardwalk/shopping area. We had a really great week."

  • Great Location!!!

"This is a nice place to stay for a vacation. It is very close to the beach and Boardwalk. It is also near many restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked to cook your own meals and the dining table is spacious. The condo is clean with plenty of room for us and our two younger children. The street it is on is very quiet. The covered porch is a great place to store beach equipment and the shower and hose out back were a nice addition to remove sand. The owner was extremely easy to communicate with and very prompt with all correspondence. We would not hesitate to stay here again."

  • Most Impressive Mother's Day stay yet

"★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spend Mother's Day weekend every year at the Jersey shore with my family - all 11 of us. This property was worth the extra money that we normally spend. The views were spectacular. The sunrise each morning was worth every single penny of our stay, to be able to watch with coffee in our hands. The kitchen/living/dining room area is spacious and very, very comfortable. I slept in the the twin room and my bed was firm. Other family members reported the same, except one queen was very soft. There were enough dishes, utensils, bowls, etc to accommodate us, but a few extra would be a good idea. If you are planning on cooking, bring press n seal or something because most containers don't have matching lids. Everything worked. Some small issues were brought to owner's attention and he was quick to reply."

  • A couple of suggestions...but a great OCNJ stay!

"We are a young family of four (kids are 3 &6) and this was our first year going on vacation solo. We wanted something that wasn't too much, relatively close to a decent beach, and cozy enough to spend downtime when the kids got tired. We also didn't want to commit to the whole 7-day chaos, so this 5 night stay fit us perfectly. The condo is so close to the beach, even if it's technically a couple of blocks away. This end of the island (south) is perfect for the family crowd because it's generally quiet with very clean beaches, good lifeguards, and not a lot of noise or partying. Driving to the Boardwalk was no sweat, nor was getting to some of the other towns, like Wildwood. The condo is nicely decorated and furnished and has a plethora of beach supplies (seriously - save the room in your car, they have all you'll need for beach days). It was the perfect size for our family of four, although it could easily accommodate three kids. My only suggestions would be that 1.) the owners either provide a couple of basics, or let you know to bring them (spices/salt&pepper, trash bags, paper products to name a few) as other places we have stayed did have some basics available. 2.). It may be worth bringing your own bed sheets or look into renting them. Having to get the kids up at 4:30 on departure day to wash all of the sheets and towels was not fun. 3.). Warn new guests about the alcohol ban on the island. We were clueless and while we're not huge drinkers - it's vacation! Overall, we had a great time, loved the island (it's quite opposite of the bad Jersey Shore stereotypes), the price was very reasonable for the quality of the condo, and we are already talking about returning. Our only wish would be that these owners had full-week availability as an option!"
