"We had a terrific stay at the Corrigans house. Meticulously clean. Modern comfortable furnishings. Our family of 4 had plenty of room. Could easily have had 6-7 people. Well stocked kitchen (in terms of pots, pans, utensils). Excellent location just a few short blocks from the beach. The house is at the far southern end of town, the quietest most residential part, far from the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk. The front deck faces West and is shady with awnings, 4 chairs and a grill. Would be great to have a small dining table out there. The back deck is large and sunny (faces East), but a little bleak. While on the beach side, you can't see the beach and the only view is of the alley, driveways, power lines, and trash cans. We only used the back deck to go to and from the beach. That was really the ONLY negative about the house, but pretty much all the houses in that part of town on that side of the street have the same 'back deck with view of the alley' problem. Also ALL the houses are REALLY close to each other. Don't expect any privacy on your deck! You'll hear every conversation on the decks nearby, but everyone we met was super friendly and respectful of each other. No late, loud parties or noise. If you're looking for a party atmosphere, this isn't it. There are several low-key food shops within a few blocks -- ice cream, sandwich shop, seafood at picnic tables, breakfast pastries, etc. Such a nice neighborhood and family-friendly spot. We would definitely go back! This was our first visit to Ocean City, NJ but we hope not the last."
