  • Beautiful family vacation

"We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled up- the bay frontage and the heated pool definitely made this place a winner. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you!"

  • Decompressed and sun-kissed!

"I thoroughly enjoyed my long weekend stay, which I spent with friends wandering up and down the shore at the end of the block, enjoying all manner of sea life from shells to various critters that wash up on the sand. One night we bought fresh seafood from the local market and grilled up a veritable feast that surely tasted so delicious partly for being consumed in beach air. The nearby tourist heart of Cape May is truly breathtaking with its endless streets of picturesque Victorians. I spent a great afternoon there poking around after two of us drove in. Back home, I found the house to be perfect for catching up with friends in an intimate setting, or meeting new ones. In our case, we had friends arrive from Europe, which enlarged our group to seven a day after we arrived. All of us slept comfortably in the three bedrooms. On the last night, I slept on the pullout bed in the living room, expecting the worst (I have a particular dislike for sofa sleepers, given that they tend to give me a bad back by morning), but I was really surprised. This one is very comfortable. I slept quite well. Inside the house is equipped with everything you need, from laundry to linens and kitchen gadgets. Outside, the wraparound porch affords a variety of spots for enjoying meals al fresco or just bird-watching in the estuary directly across the street. The most unique advantage to this house is its location right on the estuary, just steps from the bay. Even if you didn't go outside at all, you could hunker down in the living room with a book, or at the kitchen table with coffee, and watch all manner of birds who use Cape May as a stopping over spot during their travels between the arctic and South America. It's great to live among the birds and sea creatures for a while! I highly recommend!"

  • Spacious rooms, nice layout!

"Easy two-block walk to the bay beach, backs to open space and not on a busy road, and plenty of yard space! We loved it! The home is very well-kept and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen. We spent a lot of time outdoors and enjoyed the deck furniture and grill, as well. The only things on our wish list would be a center island in the kitchen, a flat-screen TV, and an outside shower. But even without these improvements, we would be happy to be able to stay here again. This area of North Cape May is an easy convenient, drive to either Cape May or Wildwood for plenty of restaurants and shopping, but has the quiet charm of a slower-paced neighborhood. Great area for biking! The owner is a pleasure to work with, and I was very glad to be able to meet Mike. We hope to work with him again in the future!"

  • Clean, well maintained, versatile accomodation for a large group

"The owners were very responsive and provided all the information we needed for a pleasant stay. The bedrooms are large and the beds very comfortable. The best part of the house is the the third floor, where there is a large and very functional kitchen, two large living rooms, a dining room and two decks. Our group of eight adults took full advantage of all these spaces for relaxing and socializing. You are very close to the Delaware bay beach. This was a new experience for us and we enjoyed walks on what was a mostly deserted beach, maybe due to the fact we were there in mid September. There were several restaurant and diners nearby. Our favorite was 5 West Pub, only a ten minute drive. We were in Cape May for a wedding and only stayed three nights so did not get much chance to explore, but there were enough attractions and activities available to keep us entertained for a week or two."
