  • Home away from home!

"We could not have chosen a better place to stay during our trip to Albuquerque! This lovely casita was a haven to return to at the end of our busy days, and the courtyard was perfect for enjoying an early morning cup of coffee or grilling out in the evening with friends. All the comforts of home, impeccably clean, and just minutes by foot from charming Old Town. Sleeps three comfortably - two in the queen bed and one in the loveseat pull-out sleeper. Lots of seating available for get-togethers. Wifi signal is strong so you can stay connected while you get away. The owners were very easy to communicate with. Plenty of off-street parking. Great value, highly recommended!"

  • Perfect!

"The house is lovely, and very comfortable for 2-4 people. 3 of us stayed a week at Casa Roma to attend a conference in Albuquerque. The house is exactly 1 mile to the conference center--a very pleasant walk--and convenient to old town also. We found the house very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The open plan of the house and one small bathroom might be a challenge for some who did not know each other well, but it was just fine for us. My only suggestion would be to have better light in the bathroom/dressing area and another mirror. We had to move the makeup mirror to the back of the house for light, and the only full length mirror is a little hard to use (we were often elbowing each other out of the way). David was an excellent host. When we had a snafu with the internet, he made sure it was fixed ASAP. If we are lucky enough to visit ABQ again, Casa Roma would be our first choice!"

  • Great ABQ Experience at a Good Value

"We loved our stay at the Casita which, though small, has much more charm than your typical VRBO rental. Adobe walls, exposed beam ceilings, and the development itself (a small "village" of several little adobe structures sprawling over several acres) all added to our Southwest experience. The house only has one double bed, the rest are singles so be aware of this if you're travelling with couples; it was great for our family with kids. If you're sleeping 5, know that one person will be on a rollaway mattress. The place is beautiful, clean, well equipped, has good wifi, and the owners were very responsive; all at a fair price!"

  • Awesome home in a great location.

"First of all we love the house and the decor. Truly Mexican with all the comforts of home. Sometimes it was hard to leave for sightseeing trips because the house was so comfortable. We love the courtyard for evening cocktails. Richard is the most gracious, helpful host we have ever met in all our travels. He is very knowledgeable about Albuquerque and all the local attractions, restaurants and local events. We have made a friend for life. We plan to return and will definitely stay at Casa de Siesta. And wait until you meet El Burro ;) Tom and Cathy"
