"We have stayed in Ruidoso for many years in the past at another home. Although it was nice, you could tell it got very little attention from the owners. This home was fantastic. Besides the fact it had more amenities than were advertised (such as crockpots, blenders, more kitchen gadgets than I have at home, TV's in every bedroom including a big screen in the living room) the house itself was spotless. Although the pictures on the website are very good, they do not really do the house justice. The view of Sierra Blanca is absolutely incredible and the wild life such as deer and turkey are in the area in abundance. Joe (the owner) called us the very first night we got in to be sure everything was OK and to see if there was anything we needed. He also called the last night of our stay to make sure everything had gone OK. There were 3 couples in our group. 2 of the couples had been coming to Ruidoso for many years and for the 3rd, it was the first time. We unanimously agreed that this is our "Go To" place in Ruidoso for the future. Thank you so much Joe for sharing your home with us Kent and Becki Roberts Fort Scott, KS"

  • Very nice home in Taos

"The home is nicely furnished inside with comfortable beds and a good supply of kitchen items for cooking inside. It's in a quiet location so leaving the windows open at night (in the summer) was a good way to cool the house. It does get a bit warm mid-day especially in the back bedrooms with no A/C, but they do cool off well at night when typical Taos temperatures drop into the 50s."

  • Lovely home

"Well equipped and comfortable home for a week's stay in Angel Fire. The house was just as it was described in the listing. The homeowners went out of their way to make us feel at home! The location was perfect, with spectacular mountain and golf course views. The hummingbirds on the front porch were an added bonus. We would definitely return !!"

  • Beyond expectations

"This was my husband's and my first visit to Santa Fe, and we did not want to leave at the end of the week. Chris's casita was perfect for us--charmingly decorated and comfortably appointed, extremely quiet at night, light-filled during the day (loved the skylights!), with a comfy king bed in the Master bedroom, a spacious eat-in kitchen, and a cozy living room with a kiva fireplace that we enjoyed several times. The house is even more spacious than it looks in the photos. And the location was so convenient, especially to Canyon Road's galleries and restaurants. From the first communication, Chris was extremely helpful. We ate at many of the restaurants she recommended, all great, and visited local museums as well as driving to Taos one day (highly recommend!). This was one of our best VRBO experiences ever. We plan to return to Santa Fe, and we hope to stay again in what we are now calling "our casita.""
