  • Arroyo Seco at its best.

"Just off Rim Road and close to the ski valley (hiking) and Taos (dinning). This house was wonderful and very comfortable. The hot tub came in handy after hiking. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Margaret and Merly were very helpful in making sure our stay was enjoyable. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you Margaret and Merly!"

  • Lovely setting, big views, well-crafted dwelling and helpful owner

"What more could we ask for? We were so pleased to be in the Arroyo Seco area for a week of summer mountain hiking and exploring the Taos area. The casita was perfect for our needs. Walking distance to cafe and groceries. Comfortable, well-crafted and well cared for property. Peaceful in all respects. The Taos Cow cafe deserves the kudos as other reviewers have noted. We hope to be back."

  • What a great property!

"Lots of room, very well furnished and supplied, all the comforts of home 3 miles from the slopes. Awesome deck, great hot tub, and the sound of the creek nearby is icing on the cake. Our party of 7 loved everything about it, we will stay here again and highly recommend it."

  • Mountain Luxury

"House was beautiful with all the comforts of home! Everything from the bath towels to the high-efficiency fireplace was top notch. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need for cooking for a crowd. Plenty of beds- 4 queens (2 are bunked), a trundle twin, and a full. Easy walk to the slopes. The base area bars/restaurants are walkable from the house (if you don't mind a little longer walk). No internet or cable in the house as advertised, spotty 3g signal for Verizon. Definitely need 4WD in the winter for the driveway."
