  • Great House, Great Location

"5 girl friends rented the Sunset House from October 1-8, 2016 and we loved the house. The twin bedded rooms were comfy - sheets and duvets were great. The closets were quite large and each bed had a nightstand and lamp. The master bedroom, bathroom and closet were huge! The kitchen was large with loads of storage and we got a lot of use out of the washer and dryer. We loved having the separate living room, media room, card room and dining area. 4 of us shared the second bath with little problem. The house was easy walking distance to all historic locations and close to bus stops as well. We only needed to car to get to grocery stores, the spa and to go out of town. We would definitely return to the Adobe Casita on Sunset."

  • Cozy and convenient!

"This was a gem of a find. We decided to make a last minute trip to Santa Fe and most hotels and B&Bs were sold out or were charging exorbitant holiday fees. Finding Caroline's place available and at a VERY reasonable $70/night was amazing. All the reviews are right on - the space is laid out very well and you have everything you could need. The location is about 15 minutes out of downtown, which makes it very close but you also feel pretty secluded out there. It's quiet and you can see the stars! Caroline was extremely helpful with recommendations and feedback on our sightseeing, and there are a plethora of resource books available in the unit if you need inspiration! The only thing that was less than perfect for me was the very firm bed. That's just a personal preference though. The linens on the bed are luxurious! So soft and warm, but I just don't do well with super firm mattresses so I didn't get the best sleep ever. Even so, we plan on coming back in the summer to see Santa Fe again and will first look to see if this spot is available. It's really that good!"

  • Unique rural property with adobe home, tree house, and hot tub one mile from town

"This property is perfect for those seeking a true sense of living in the high desert but with the convenience of being close to all that the Enchanted Circle, and particularly Taos, has to offer. We were able to snowshoe, cross-country, and downhill everyday from this great location. You are minutes from the Plaza and the Pueblo, and within an hour of an incredible variety of terrain, from the Rio Grande gorge to the highest peak in the state. Melissa's taste and decorating talent surrounds you with the Southwest even when you are indoors. We had many unusual challenges on our holiday family vacation due to airlines, weather, and plumbing but our host Melissa was steadfast and responsive throughout! We found the people of Taos to be exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and look forward to returning and staying in one of Melissa's properties. A note about travel insurance: Our trip was delayed three days by the airlines due to a flight cancellation. This resulted in a trip "interruption" which is NOT covered by the Home Away policy with CNA. Read the policy but we would not recommend purchasing. We have purchased it for many years mistakenly thinking we were covered for this routine occurance."
