  • absolutely wonderful casita

"My husband and I were completely charmed by this truly beautiful casita for our five day stay. Everything was comfortable, the way light, colour, and gorgeous touches played through the rooms lifted our hearts, all appliances worked, everything was spotless, and the silence and lovely spaces to read, cook, visit with friends, or simply rest with a coffee watching the mountains and the birds was completely delightful. This must be one of our very favourite places ever found through VRBO. Outstanding! Truly a jewel. Thank you!"

  • Moonstar Shines!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great time in Santa Fe. A group of 8 of us shared this beautiful property. It is exquisite! Great property to walk around on, awesome deck to watch the sunset and downtown lights, and a great fireplace on the covered patio to knock of the chill. Great kitchen, well stocked with plates, etc. Everyone in our party wants to stay at Moonstar again next year for our Santa Fe visit."

  • Can't wait to return!

"Want a place to relax? A place where you can hear the birds sing, watch the rabbits feeding on the grass outside the window, drink your morning coffee on the portal as the breeze winds its way through the orchard and the aspens. A place full of books and magazines, of large comfortable sofas and chairs. Yet so very close to all that Santa Fe and northern New Mexico offers. During our week's stay, my wife and I took day trips to Madrid and the San Marcos Café, to the plaza and farmers' market in Santa Fe, to the small towns and art colonies on the high road to Taos, and to the train ride in Chama. On alternating days we simply stayed in the guesthouse, enjoying the tranquility. The owner is accommodating, informative, and welcoming. Before we arrived she gave us all the information we needed: how to get to the compound and where to stop for groceries. She personally met us when we arrived to show us the property and reminded us to contact her if we needed anything. One afternoon after we returned from a day trip, she invited us over for a glass of wine and graciously showed us her charming home, the oldest one in the compound. It is such a beautiful setting, seemingly away from everything, but close to grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops, drug stores and boutiques. When we left after our week's stay, we immediately wished we had reserved Nxai's Place for a month. We intend to return soon."

  • very quiet & relaxing

"While a short distance to biking, hiking, and the galleries, we found ourselves just wanting to hang out at the casita. It was so quiet and has a great view of the area. Some peace at last!"
