  • Good place for families

"Good: lots of space, very nice furnishings and decor, kids (2, 5 y/o) loved looking to Dinosaurs in the junipers and short pines. Outdoor space was nice. Close to town, nice tranquil vibe. Just so nice with small kids to have some space vs even a large hotel room. Not so Good: there was a little road noise outside that seemed less prominent as we went along. Felt like it was slightly high on the price once all the fee got added. Overall, owner and property manager were pleasant to deal with. PS if you have kids definitely do Harry's Roadhouse Cafe; kid friendly with high end cuisine, a rarity."

  • Family of 7 had a great stay

"We had an extended family of 7 stay for the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was great. Plenty of room for everyone to be able to get away when needed and great common spaces for being together. The kitchen was awesome. The house had everything we needed and was a short, easy drive to downtown and the plaza. The property manager was great to work with. We would definitely stay there again."

  • Mountain Luxury

"House was beautiful with all the comforts of home! Everything from the bath towels to the high-efficiency fireplace was top notch. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need for cooking for a crowd. Plenty of beds- 4 queens (2 are bunked), a trundle twin, and a full. Easy walk to the slopes. The base area bars/restaurants are walkable from the house (if you don't mind a little longer walk). No internet or cable in the house as advertised, spotty 3g signal for Verizon. Definitely need 4WD in the winter for the driveway."

  • Fun and funky hacienda off the beaten track :)

"Just as shown in the photos, this is a little southwestern hideaway, with exceptional views of Santa Fe and the valley below. As others noted, the property managers were helpful, but not intrusive. Located about an hour from Albuquerque and only 10-15 minutes from downtown Santa Fe. A bit far for early mornings at the balloon fiesta (Albuquerque), but perfect for enjoying all of the attractions of Santa Fe. Would recommend 4WD or at least decent clearance for winter stays - the last access road/driveway is narrow, gravel, and ends uphill. Only one private bedroom (just as indicated in the listing), but it worked fine for my husband and I, two adult daughters, and one boyfriend, since we were all clear about the lack of privacy going in. :) I think five would be about the maximum number of adults that it could accommodate comfortably, although there were rollaway beds that might be fun to put out on the patio or deck during summer months (not sure where they would go inside). Clean and tidy with the following exceptions - a bit cob-webby overall; dining room table wasn't clean when we arrived - it had interesting ashy deposits and a nail; and dog poo in the driveway, which we discovered after stepping in it... but all in all, fun, funky, and a good value. Well appointed kitchen, Wi-Fi, comfortable living room area for reading, playing games, etc. Would recommend Tecolote Cafe for breakfast and the iconic Shed for lunch or dinner."
