  • Gorgeous home & location with amazing everything!!

"The log home is incredibly beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained. The kitchen had everything a self described home chef wanted. (All 'tools' were high-end: Heavy duty pots, 5 burner gas stove, dozen++ bowls and plates and silverware, serving dishes, and even a Ninja blender.) The open living space with the to-die-for views were fabulous for a large family gathering. The towels, linens, hand soap, etc were very high quality. Even the tap water tasted good! And the owner provided amazing service... she clearly pays attention to the details and wants you to enjoy every moment. More awesomeness: I booked this place for a Father's Day gift for my 91 year old grandfather and brought the whole family. Everyone *loved* it! From early booking, the owner was proactive and very helpful in communications. Because we had a lot of singles in our group of 10, some of us camped in the living room, but the furniture was so nice it wasn't a burden. We ate non-stop and had plenty of dishes for our big crew... Plus a dishwasher to deal with the aftermath. I covet the gorgeous artwork, furniture, rugs, and duvets throughout the house. My only regret is that I didn't make more time to hang out on the deck (only because I was in the beautiful kitchen so much). Two pointers: get clear driving directions before you go, as we had to bother the owner to help us find it (she was awesome! but TMobile cellular service is very poor in Pecos and it's a bit of a bumpy drive if you're a city slicker). Be prepared for reasonable water conservation. (Water is hauled and there was plenty of it - even for 10 of us over a long weekend. But if you've never lived thinking about the gallons we pour down the drain on a daily basis, your guests might be concerned.) It's really not a limitation but a perspective change. (did I mention the dishwasher? a W&D, too! and great water pressure). We absolutely loved the place and can't wait to find another excuse to return."

  • We love Santa Fe!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A wonderful experience, just like last year. The house is in good condition, almost everything works as it should. It is in a beautiful neighborhood with an excellent view. Very close to the downtown historic districts and also very close to Ski Santa Fe, which is why we chose this location. The management company provides excellent customer service throughout the whole process. We are looking foward to staying again next year...."

  • Couldn't have been any better!

"We stayed in Casa Vieja for the entire month of August with our two small dogs and it was pretty much perfection. The house is a genuine old Santa Fe adobe that the owner keeps immaculately maintained. Casa Vieja is cozy, comfy and tastefully decorated. It is located in a gated compound with three houses on the property, in a quiet neighborhood in the interesting (to us) historic older part of Santa Fe. A great deal of thought and care was put into the interior decoration of the house, which is filled with beautiful furniture, oriental rugs, art, and antiques. The mattress was comfortable, the sheets and towels were high quality. The tile work in the bathroom is especially exquisite. The kitchen is a pleasure to work in and is fully stocked with plates, cutlery, pots & pans. The thick adobe walls keeps the house cool, even when it is hot outside and there are plenty of windows to open for a good cross breeze. The house has a fenced courtyard garden which is a lovely place to sit in and drink coffee in the morning. Everything was spanking clean when we arrived and for a reasonable fee, we had Nancy's housekeeper come in and clean once a week. Apodaca Hill is an interesting neighborhood and you can walk to Canyon Road, The Plaza or Museum Hill from Casa Vieja. I've saved the best for last -- Nancy was the perfect hostess, she was attentive and responsive to our needs, but not obtrusive. We hope to return next year."

  • Trisha (my son's college graduation)

"I just want to start of by saying that the home was absolutely beautiful just as pictured. Laurie was a doll she answer ever question we had and did not bother us at all which we truly appreciated. My family and I came in town for my son's college graduation with Santa Fe University of Art & Design we had a great time. My mom and I made sure everything was washed and cleaned even though we didn't have to wash but treated that home as if was our own. Thank you so much Laurie for a great experience"
