"We had a great time. Enjoyed the cabin. Mr. White answered the phone immediately when I called and talked me all the way to the driveway. Very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the deck in the mornings and the evenings. Hummingbirds were enjoyable to watch. One was very aggressive to the other 6. We plan on staying in the future. I would recommend a 4wd in the winter months."

  • A magnificent home!

"We have rented several wonderful VRBO homes and we were members of a destination club for four years so we have stayed in many beautiful properties. This is one of the finest and I would highly recomment it. Everything about the home is exceptional. We were a group of four women so we only rented the main house. We loved the fact that everyone had her own bedroom and bath and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. I wish my kitchen drawers looked like that! The management company, Casas de Santa Fe, does a great job of maintaining the property and preparing it for new guests. The furnishings and artwork were amazing and it made us feel like we were staying in someone's beautiful personal home. The outdoor patio areas were also exceptional and the home and the casita are on almost an acre of land. We love the Tesuque area and we chose this home partially because it was within walking distance of the Tesuque Village Market, a funky, unique wonderful place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, pastries and some great little gifts. The home is also close to the Tesuque Glassworks (a must as far as we're concerned) and the Shidoni Foundry. I have sung the praises of this home so much to our friends that I just home we will be able to get in when we return to Santa Fe!"

  • Pefection in the Heart of Santa Fe

"I can't say enough good things about Casa Estrella...it is really a beautiful home. Of all the rentals we've stayed at in past years, this was by far the best! The attention to guest satisfaction is apparent throughout the inside and outside of the house. From the wonderfully comfortable beds and living room furniture to the unexpected backpack and umbrella (we didn't pack them but it was great to have them there when it was needed), nothing was overlooked. I talked to the owner before we arrived and he called while we were there. Their concern for their guests' happiness is genuine! Ed was also very helpful in recommending restaurants and excursions. I should also mention that the house is very well-located and it was an easy walk to coffee shops, restaurants and markets. I agree with all the other guests--this was a fantastic place to stay in Santa Fe!!"

  • Wonderful stay in Tesuque

"What a wonderful way for us to enjoy our first visit to Santa Fe and northern New Mexico. The property is located in a very quiet, picturesque area just about 10 minutes outside of Santa Fe. We were close enough to go into town as often as we wanted but far enough away to enjoy some much needed solitude. Coming from a large city, we really appreciated getting away from noise and light pollution; being able to see the Milky Way at night was a pleasant treat. The house itself is perfectly sized for 4 people with pretty much all of the conveniences of home: all expected appliances; a good sized, well fitted kitchen; plenty of linens, etc. Space-wise, the house is very comfortable with a large patio and outdoor dining area downstairs and wrap-around deck upstairs. Everything was clean, modern, and well-maintained. Do note that the house does not have air conditioning (neither central A/C nor window units). I am sure that during much of the year, A/C is not necessary. During our stay, in July however, daytime temperatures were in the mid-90s which made for very warm evenings in the house. There are ample fans and plenty of air circulation when the windows are open, so we did not suffer. The owner was attentive. He did check on us by phone shortly after our arrival to make sure that everything was acceptable. He also provided plenty of information about the house, its amenities, and the local area in a well organized visitors' notebook. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to go to Santa Fe. We hope to return in the future."
