  • Our Second Visit

"This was our second stay at Ann's wonderful home is less than a year! We stayed for 5 nights in September 2015 and could hardly wait to come back again. On this trip we stayed for 8 nights and still wished for more. Ann is a delightful hostess. She provides every amenity needed to make your stay enjoyable. He back garden was a delight of blooming tulips and daffodils for the plant lover. This was a wonderful time of the year to visit, with cool nights and sunny days. There was still snow in The Taos Ski Valley, just a short drive from this wonderful adobe home. Perfect location to enjoy all of the Taos area. Thank you Ann for another wonderful stay."

  • Nice quiet, secluded area.

"We had a great week in Ruidoso at the Alpine Escape. It is nicely furnished & all appliances are new. The location is in a very hilly area & gives you privacy & convenience to shopping. The view of the mountain at sunrise is magnificent and we saw deer every day. The garage is very handy to get your car out of the weather when unloading & also gives you more room to turn around on the steep driveway. I would definitely recommend this place to family & friends."

  • Fall stay at the Remote Wilderness Casita

"I was fortunate to stay 3 nights at the Remote Wilderness Casita the first week of October. Everything I could have possibly needed was found in the cabin, not to mention the delicious eggs and fresh vegetables provided by the ranch. The mornings were chilly (25F), but the cabin was always cozy; I did not need to light the wood-burning stove. The bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home with me! I did not use the solar shower, but heated water on the propane stove to take a "dish bath" every evening. For the first in memory, I was completely unplugged from work-related stress and entirely relaxed. I read, hiked, watched the stars, sang to the cattle and birds. The elk came down from the mountains , making sounds that resembled vocal exercises - and the cattle answered back. Thanks to my wonderful hosts! I want to come back for a week at the same time next year."
