  • A small place on Palace Avenue

"We have stayed here several years. It is spacious, immaculate, beautifully decorated with paintings by well-known Southwest artists, with comfortable beds, central air, and room-darkening drapes in the bedrooms. In August it was cool, quiet, and safe enough to sleep with the bedroom windows open at night. The bathrooms are recently remodeled with rain showers and heated floors. The washer and dryer are new.' The kitchen is well-supplied with cooking utensils; we ate breakfast, and frequently lunch and dinner at the house. The dining room seats six comfortably; the house is surrounded by gardens and there are tables in both the front and rear garden. There is private off-street parking. All of this only two blocks from the plaza, one block from the river park, and two blocks from Canyon Road with its dozens of galleries. On the opposite side of the block is a pick up spot for the opera shuttle and the Agoyo Lounge, which is quiet and had excellent dinners and light fare. Whole Foods is about 10 minutes away by car. There are probably twenty or thirty good restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk. There is a cheesemonger on Marcy Street and a wine store two blocks away on Palace. Caroline has always been extremely helpful and accommodating. Anything that goes wrong has been fixed immediately (although the Wifi is mysteriously temperamental – if it is an essential, make sure the proper incantation has been made it get it to cooperate)."

  • Home away from Home in Santa Fe

"Property is well decorated and supplies almost everything you need for a stay while in Santa Fe. Sunrises are nice from the balcony, but traffic can be a bit loud at times. You do not hear traffic with Windows/doors closed- which is good. Kitchen has many pots/pans, various appliances- we found everything that we needed for 5 days. Condo is really well decorated. Kiva fireplace is a bit of a challenge to keep a fire going. We found cracking window in kitchen helped with air flow. The artwork is perfect fit for the SW vibe. Condo is very clean. Wifi works perfect- an important thing for me. No defined parking, but we had no issues finding a place to park. Neighbors are reasonably quiet- didn't run into many while there. Owner provides suggestions on what to see and do in the area, places to eat, etc. they also have brochures in the condo to refer to as well. That's really nice to have to review. Close proximity to downtown plaza, farmers markets, shopping, movies, casinos etc. We will be back in the future."

  • Good place for families

"Good: lots of space, very nice furnishings and decor, kids (2, 5 y/o) loved looking to Dinosaurs in the junipers and short pines. Outdoor space was nice. Close to town, nice tranquil vibe. Just so nice with small kids to have some space vs even a large hotel room. Not so Good: there was a little road noise outside that seemed less prominent as we went along. Felt like it was slightly high on the price once all the fee got added. Overall, owner and property manager were pleasant to deal with. PS if you have kids definitely do Harry's Roadhouse Cafe; kid friendly with high end cuisine, a rarity."
