  • Very nice getaway with beautiful view

"The house was very nice and clean. Only drawback from my family is the use of windows for AC. However, sleeping with the windows open was amazing and refreshing. Lincoln was very pleasant to deal with and provided wonderful directions. Hot tub, wifi, tv, game room, and much more. We had a great time and there was still snow on mountains in June!!"

  • This IS the BEST vacation rental EVER!

"If you want to stay in the swankiest home near Taos, this is it! My two friends and I get together once a year for an epic vacation and this was the best place we have stayed so far! The views are fabulous from every window and the many outdoor sitting areas. It is very quiet and peaceful and only 10 minutes away from Taos. Very close to MANY beautiful hiking trails. The hot tub is the best we have experienced. You are NOT overwhelmed by chlorine fumes or left with a bleached bathing suit. If you are lucky, like I was twice during my stay, you can watch the lightening and hear the thunder nearby while staying warm in the tub. The hot tub is the best place for watching the sunset, too. And if you can stay up late enough (summer-time) there are a zillion stars in the sky, more than I have ever seen anywhere. The thing I liked most about this house was that it always stayed a very nice temperature- around 69 to 70 degrees F. So you are not cold in the morning or too hot in the afternoon. If you get a little warm at night, you can open a bedroom window and have a nice cool breeze float through. Each bedroom has an oversized fluffy warm robe that I wore daily- so nice after relaxing in the hot tub. Make sure you take a leisurely stroll through the 'neighborhood' in the evening. There are lots of bun buns (cotton-tailed bunnies) hopping around and they are soooooo cute! Plus, it is fun to look at all the other very nice homes in this upscale area. We LOVED staying here and so will you!"

  • The property is nestled among sage brush and pine, surrounded by mountains and extraordinary views.

"There is a feeling of being home when entering the house for the first time. The furnishings, art, tasteful decor which includes anything you might need, create a welcoming presence. It is quiet. You might see a jack rabbit or hear coyotes in the evening. The covered porch offers a protected and cozy way to enjoy the outdoors and ever changing light. One can sit out in the rain or wind and be perfectly dry and comfortable. The bedrooms are beautiful and the beds and pillows are comfortable. There is art throughout the house which is of great interest, having been collected from all over the world. It is almost shocking how trusted we felt in such a beautiful home. This is a retreat if you choose, or a very convivial place for a family. Nature's presence is everywhere, out every window. The listing description is accurate. The property is clean and well maintained. I would recommend this home to all family and friends. We hope to return soon. We were drawn to the area for the art museums, particularly Georgia O'Keeffe's Abique home which is about 90 minutes away. The Taos museums are spectacular. We didn't have time to explore fine dining but Pizano's pizza is divine and Taos Pizza Outback was highly recommended."
