  • A magnificent home!

"We have rented several wonderful VRBO homes and we were members of a destination club for four years so we have stayed in many beautiful properties. This is one of the finest and I would highly recomment it. Everything about the home is exceptional. We were a group of four women so we only rented the main house. We loved the fact that everyone had her own bedroom and bath and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. I wish my kitchen drawers looked like that! The management company, Casas de Santa Fe, does a great job of maintaining the property and preparing it for new guests. The furnishings and artwork were amazing and it made us feel like we were staying in someone's beautiful personal home. The outdoor patio areas were also exceptional and the home and the casita are on almost an acre of land. We love the Tesuque area and we chose this home partially because it was within walking distance of the Tesuque Village Market, a funky, unique wonderful place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, pastries and some great little gifts. The home is also close to the Tesuque Glassworks (a must as far as we're concerned) and the Shidoni Foundry. I have sung the praises of this home so much to our friends that I just home we will be able to get in when we return to Santa Fe!"

  • Comfy and close to everything wonderful!

"We loved our stay in beautiful and comfortable Casa Quintana. We were able to easily and safely walk to old town, the rail yard (cross at Guadalupe with the light!) as well as the Georgia O'keeffe Museum and the Lorreto Chapel. The home itself has great bedding and comfy cozy stove in the living room. We loved sitting in the hot tub under the stars. There were two of us (but not a couple) for this trip, so we used both bedrooms. The back bedroom is a little cold, but so long as you keep the door to the kitchen open it stays warm enough. Plenty of extra blankets and towels!"

  • Amazing house and incredibly kind owner

"Last fall, I arranged to stay here for a large family gathering in July 2016. As the time neared for our Santa Fe gathering, family members became ill and the gathering fell apart. The owners were incredibly helpful and tried to re-rent the property. However, it is a large house and not the usual kind of last minute rental. In the end three of us made the trip because it was already paid for. I am so glad we did.The home is lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and listening to the neighborhood sounds. We invited friends to join us for dinner in the fabulous garden. Everything is clean, well cared for and delightful. We could not have found a better space. We took a leisurely walk to the plaza daily and walked several times to Canyon Road. We only drove when going to the opera and leaving town for Taos. Thank you for your kindness and for a restful stay."

  • Peaceful location near town and hiking trails

"Casita de la Paz was a very nice place to stay. I received good directions to find the place and get there. It's clean and modern, yet is set in the mountains like a cozy cabin. Even though it only sleeps two, it feels very spacious with plenty of room. (A third person would have to sleep on the futon or couch in living room.) Furnishings were all nice and updated; the kitchen is very well-stocked with pots, pans and utensils. The location was perfect for me -- 2 min drive to Ten Thousand Waves Spa; 5-7 min drive to the Plaza; and, very close to a number of hiking/biking trails just down the road. You definitely need a car to get around. The few things giving this a 4 rating instead of a 5 were: 1) no window treatments on the bedroom windows made it a little creepy for a female by herself; 2) the bathroom doesn't have counter space to put in eye contacts, etc. where you need a sink and mirror; 3) no dishwasher. These were minor details (except the window treatments) that certainly didn't impact my stay in a negative way. I would stay at Casita de la Paz again."
