  • Not just a house....home away from home!

"Rite and Tom's beautiful house was perfect for our first long term stay in enchanting Santa Fe (1 month). I almost cried with joy when I stepped in the door! Lovely tile floors, vigas, gorgeous dishes and glasses, fully stocked kitchen with new appliances and nice cookware. Private guest quarters withe en suite bath make this a perfect house to share with another couple or older kids. Parking is off street and secure. The outside space is lovely for outdoor dining and we grillled many times. Oh did I mention a quick walk to the plaza and 15 min to Canyon Road? Already booked next year! Thank you, Rita and Tom!"

  • Even better than described online!!

"This home was perfect in terms of location, cleanliness. family friendliness and newness of furnishings. No carpet which is ideal for allergy sufferers. Top of line finishes and fixtures throughout. Super cool design and layout. Downstairs unit was great for kids with their own tv sofas bed and bath plus small frig. Still connected to rest of house so adults could easily supervise. Checkin was a breeze and owners were very friendly. Visitors guide was very detailed and helpful. This home was the cleanest of any I have ever rented of any age. Would highly recommend."

  • A small place on Palace Avenue

"We have stayed here several years. It is spacious, immaculate, beautifully decorated with paintings by well-known Southwest artists, with comfortable beds, central air, and room-darkening drapes in the bedrooms. In August it was cool, quiet, and safe enough to sleep with the bedroom windows open at night. The bathrooms are recently remodeled with rain showers and heated floors. The washer and dryer are new.' The kitchen is well-supplied with cooking utensils; we ate breakfast, and frequently lunch and dinner at the house. The dining room seats six comfortably; the house is surrounded by gardens and there are tables in both the front and rear garden. There is private off-street parking. All of this only two blocks from the plaza, one block from the river park, and two blocks from Canyon Road with its dozens of galleries. On the opposite side of the block is a pick up spot for the opera shuttle and the Agoyo Lounge, which is quiet and had excellent dinners and light fare. Whole Foods is about 10 minutes away by car. There are probably twenty or thirty good restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk. There is a cheesemonger on Marcy Street and a wine store two blocks away on Palace. Caroline has always been extremely helpful and accommodating. Anything that goes wrong has been fixed immediately (although the Wifi is mysteriously temperamental – if it is an essential, make sure the proper incantation has been made it get it to cooperate)."
