  • Excellent for the price

"We were in Santa Fe for the opera festival. This is the first time we have rented during our stay. This house was very well represented on the website. The view from the patio looks more expansive than it is, but there is no need for it to be any different. I wish the owners would emphasize that they are a very walkable mile from downtown. Also, that the day beds (which are twin beds) are downstairs in their own space. Very clean and well-maintained. Very nice stay"

  • Absolutely wonderful!

"We had a fantastic time staying at the house and hope to repeat again in the future. We did travel with a group of 6 and one lady was 84 years of age. Maybe not the best house for her due to the "levels" within the house but we were aware of this from the house description. She faired quite well but we did have some concern. The views were fantastic, beds quite comfortable and the hot tub topped off the day! The property manager was very accessible and contacted us several times making sure all was good with check in and that our stay was good."

  • Beautiful home, mountain views, 2 minutes from town

"We have been staying in David's house for the last 7-8 years. In the last 30 years we have stayed all over Santa Fe, but this house is by far the best. The house truly is architecturally unique and David has furnished it with many interesting and unusual pieces. It has a spacious floor plan that is abundant in natural light with beautiful views of the mountains. The terrace is my favorite place to be in the morning with a cup of coffee and a good book. It is so peaceful and the air is fresh and clean. The desert landscape draws in the birds and butterflies and it just couldn't be more relaxing. The terrace is also the best place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun go down as the city lights begin to twinkle. We don't usually sleep well when we travel, but we sleep like the dead in the Sleep Number bed. There is also a Tempurpedic bed. The bed linens are soft and comfortable as are the bath towels. The house is immaculate and lovingly cared for by the property managers, Richard and Isabella, who we adore. They are so attentive to the details that really make the stay exceptional. Finally, during the winter, after a hard day of skiing we are thankful that the house is only a minute or so from town. We can zip in and grab a pizza, and be back at the house in time for sunset. Gotta mention how much we love the elevator too, but it runs a close race with the oversized fire place where you can build a serious fire. I guess I really shouldn't leave out the theater room that does have super comfy cuddle furniture that can easily accommodate our family of four. I rarely watch tv in this house but I did make an exception for Wimbledon! Oh, and there are tennis courts just down the highway at Fort Marcy! Bonus!!!"

"Beautiful home with spectacular views of the Jemez Mountains. The home was very comfortable and accommodating. After a busy day of hiking and exploring the area we truly enjoyed relaxing on the upper deck with an adult beverage watching the sunset. Thank you for sharing your lovely home Jeremy."
