  • Lovely!

"Cute casita in a wonderful location in a beautiful setting! Quiet, private and cozy. You will feel like a Santa Fean, not a tourist. Super clean, has everything you could need, and has an excellent parking situation! Although there were other cars at the home, I never saw a soul except a fluffy kitty. Very peaceful and secluded feel, nice little outdoor area. Just lovely!"

  • Couldn't have been any better!

"We stayed in Casa Vieja for the entire month of August with our two small dogs and it was pretty much perfection. The house is a genuine old Santa Fe adobe that the owner keeps immaculately maintained. Casa Vieja is cozy, comfy and tastefully decorated. It is located in a gated compound with three houses on the property, in a quiet neighborhood in the interesting (to us) historic older part of Santa Fe. A great deal of thought and care was put into the interior decoration of the house, which is filled with beautiful furniture, oriental rugs, art, and antiques. The mattress was comfortable, the sheets and towels were high quality. The tile work in the bathroom is especially exquisite. The kitchen is a pleasure to work in and is fully stocked with plates, cutlery, pots & pans. The thick adobe walls keeps the house cool, even when it is hot outside and there are plenty of windows to open for a good cross breeze. The house has a fenced courtyard garden which is a lovely place to sit in and drink coffee in the morning. Everything was spanking clean when we arrived and for a reasonable fee, we had Nancy's housekeeper come in and clean once a week. Apodaca Hill is an interesting neighborhood and you can walk to Canyon Road, The Plaza or Museum Hill from Casa Vieja. I've saved the best for last -- Nancy was the perfect hostess, she was attentive and responsive to our needs, but not obtrusive. We hope to return next year."

  • Beautiful home in a great location!

"My three friends and I stayed in Rita's beautiful casita for 5 days in August, and it was an absolutely perfect stay--her home was lovely and had everything we needed, and Rita was so helpful and thought of everything to make us feel at home. The location is just a couple of blocks to the railyard, which was fantastic, and a little less than 20 minutes walking to the plaza. We felt completely at home and didn't want to leave! We're already planning our trip for next year."

  • Enchanting, intimate retreat

"This studio was perfect for my wife and I - an easy walk to the galleries and plaza, but secluded and quiet. Our host was gracious and instructive - we had never used a Southwestern coffee urn - and then faded into the mist, even though she lives on the property. This studio stands alone, quiet and private. It's the perfect space for couples to reconnect and enjoy a snowy/sleety day under the covers, and the amenities are perfect for wine, cheese and a light dinner. Easy access to all amenities - and easy to get to Taos for a day trip. We found so much more to love about Santa Fe - our first visit - from staying here than we would have from a standard hotel or resort. We can't wait to come back."
