  • Home for the Holidays

"Staying in Linda's apartment certainly felt like home to us. We were able to celebrate Christmas with family and friends, warmed by the fireplace and aided by a complete kitchen. We walked to museums, restaurants, shops, church and cinema. We called on Linda a couple of times and she was right there. This was our first visit to Santa Fe, and thanks to Linda's hospitality and the city's attractions, including blue skies (& light snow on Christmas morning) we will certainly be back."

  • Perfect spot near the Plaza

"Beautiful home within walking distance of lots of shopping, great food, and Mass at the historic Cathedral. We have four kids, and this home had plenty of room and was fully equipped with all of life's everyday necessities. Also, can't beat the personal attention provided by Caroline and her staff."

  • Peaceful and Relaxing

"Our second visit to Shining Sun Casita was as wonderful as our first, last November. Just as advertised, all the amenities are taken care of - bedroom with a comfortable queen bed and dressers/chests to unpack you luggage, a large closet to store extra items, cozy bathroom with a wonderful shower, and a kitchen stocked with all the basic equipment for a home-cooked meal. As it was just the two of us, we had no need for the linens provided for the living room futon-sofa, but we both felt it was comfortable the night we opened it up to lounge while watching a movie. Although we spent most of our time hiking and sightseeing in and around Santa Fe, the TV with DirecTV service was enjoyable when we wanted to laze away a few hours in the evening. There was no need for the wood stove to heat the casita in May, but firewood was provided in case things turned cool. The great cottonwood tree just outside the casita provided cooling shade for porch sitting. And our dog loved all the smells and sounds of the barnyard just beyond the casita. All in all, this is a fantastic place to make your home base while exploring Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Bandelier National Monument, the Sangre de Cristos Mountains, Santa Fe National Forest, and points beyond. On this visit, we took in all of the above, as well as Fort Union National Monument. There is no shortage of great places to eat, but be prepared to drive to get there. And if you like to try your luck, there are numerous tribe-operated casinos nearby."

  • Cozy and Comfortable

"We booked this property for Christmas in Santa Fe and it was just great! The location is so convenient and the home is very comfortable and well equipped. Me, my husband, our two kids and my parents all fit comfortably in the home and were warm and snug in the thick adobe. It was a charming place to spend our holiday!"
