  • Very Nice Vacation Rental

"The Artista Casita is a really nice place to stay in Santa Fe. The location, just north of the Plaza, is quite good and the Casita itself is well equipped and comfortable. The group of condos is well maintained and attractive. We did some cooking and found the kitchen very workable. The upstairs main bed was comfortable and the bathroom served us well. Nice place - recommended."

  • Amazing house and incredibly kind owner

"Last fall, I arranged to stay here for a large family gathering in July 2016. As the time neared for our Santa Fe gathering, family members became ill and the gathering fell apart. The owners were incredibly helpful and tried to re-rent the property. However, it is a large house and not the usual kind of last minute rental. In the end three of us made the trip because it was already paid for. I am so glad we did.The home is lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and listening to the neighborhood sounds. We invited friends to join us for dinner in the fabulous garden. Everything is clean, well cared for and delightful. We could not have found a better space. We took a leisurely walk to the plaza daily and walked several times to Canyon Road. We only drove when going to the opera and leaving town for Taos. Thank you for your kindness and for a restful stay."

  • COMFORT, CHARM AND HOSPITALITY

"Our hearts were won after parking and pausing at the blue gate, where we lingered before even passing through to the beautifully planted courtyard. The latter became our favorite spot for morning coffee and late afternoon reflections on the day. It didn't hurt that the season offered the blazing orange of pyrocanthus berries, the shimmering yellow of aspen leaves just turning, and the red of the Virginia Creeper twining here and there. Even the ornamental grasses were "in bloom," and hummingbirds regularly hovered at the porch feeder. Yes, we did spend time inside this lovely casa, where every comfort and convenience was provided for relaxing, cooking, and sleeping. The art work from Alexander Anthony's Adobe Gallery enhanced this rich interior environment. For planning our days, the collection of brochures and local magazines was richly supplemented by excellent tips and guidance from both Mr. Anthony and Todd. Inspired by the cool evenings to light our kiva, we were grateful when Todd provided kindling, paper, and fragrant pinon, as well as new lighters! Wondering where to eat, how to find the best spot for catching the shuttle, where the neighborhood coffee house is? Todd will lead you there! While this was the perfect location for venturing further into and out of the city, perhaps the greatest pleasure was that feeling of being IN a walkable neighborhood and the growing familiarity with Canyon Rd., Asequia Madre, and all the lovely cross streets! We are so grateful to our generous and charming hosts and do hope to visit again!"

  • Wonderful place to spend Christmas!

"Our Arizona family including dogs spent a wonderful Christmas here this year. Close to The Plaza, ski area, and all the restaurants that make a winter visit to SantaFe so special. The house was clean, comfortable, and well appointed for our stay."
