  • A magnificent home!

"We have rented several wonderful VRBO homes and we were members of a destination club for four years so we have stayed in many beautiful properties. This is one of the finest and I would highly recomment it. Everything about the home is exceptional. We were a group of four women so we only rented the main house. We loved the fact that everyone had her own bedroom and bath and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. I wish my kitchen drawers looked like that! The management company, Casas de Santa Fe, does a great job of maintaining the property and preparing it for new guests. The furnishings and artwork were amazing and it made us feel like we were staying in someone's beautiful personal home. The outdoor patio areas were also exceptional and the home and the casita are on almost an acre of land. We love the Tesuque area and we chose this home partially because it was within walking distance of the Tesuque Village Market, a funky, unique wonderful place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, pastries and some great little gifts. The home is also close to the Tesuque Glassworks (a must as far as we're concerned) and the Shidoni Foundry. I have sung the praises of this home so much to our friends that I just home we will be able to get in when we return to Santa Fe!"

  • Peaceful, well-appointed getaway

"We had a great time at La Vista Hermosa. The property is so comfortable and peaceful - you feel like you are really away from the hustle and bustle but at the same time it's easy to get into Santa Fe and out to the main highway. Comfortable bed, cozy fireplace, and reasonably well equipped kitchen. Lleta is a gracious host and we would definitely stay again."

  • Loved our peaceful retreat to Santa Fe!

"The house is amazing. You start in a cute New Mexican styled kitchen with an attached patio and walk through a doorway into a beautiful living space with high ceilings and natural light coming in from the breathtaking views. The loft is a great place to sleep and wonderful spot to see the stars. The house sits on a spacious piece of Santa Fe land and the meditation tower at the top of the hill makes it truly a one of a kind experience. San Marcos Cafe down the street was wonderful for breakfast (plus it's a bird sanctuary and there are peacocks and others outside your table's window!) and Raven's Rock Cafe has great BBQ. Would be excited to return to this rental!"

  • Lovely little house

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was lovely and clean. We really liked the decor. The location was fantastic -- easy walk to everything downtown. We'd definitely stay there again. Two minor notes for future guests: 1. The house is very, very difficult to find -- a Santa Fe local got lost getting there. You may have to wander around for a while, even with GPS. 2. The only bathroom is attached to the bedroom; anyone staying on the fold-out couch in the living room has to go through the bedroom to get to it. Kokopelli did a great job. Our stay in Santa Fe was over a July 4th weekend, so we reserved a condo via Airbnb (and paid the full amount) seven months before then. The week before we were to arrive, we contacted the owner of the unit we had reserved to get final instructions, and were informed that he had neglected to tell us the reservation was cancelled! After more Airbnb problems we contacted Kokopelli directly about a listing it had on Airbnb. That rental was not available either (Kokopelli should have removed it from Airbnb, but that's a different matter), but Kokopelli found us this house, which was kind of expensive, but really nice. While we were in Santa Fe, Kokopelli was very good about making sure everything was okay, and checking in and out were very simple and quick."
