  • Quaint, comfortable and clean

"Very convenient location to Canyon Road. Property was well maintained, clean and had all the provisions we needed. The only downside was that the neighbors mesquite fire smoke was very thick in the a.m. hours which prevented us from enjoying breakfast on the deck. It was not an issue when we had Happy Hour on the deck in the afternoon. Not sure why there was even smoke since a fire ban was active. Not anything the owners could have done just a factor to consider when visiting New Mexico. If you like the smell of mesquite then it will add to the character and ambience you'll experience in this wonderful vacation home."

  • Great experience and location

"We (50+ couple) stayed in a 1-bedroom unit (#4) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was clean, comfortable, and worked properly. This compound is relatively new construction and well maintained, and was built with traditional Southwest/Santa Fe styling. We've stayed in other casitas in Santa Fe before, and would definitely come back to Campanilla Compound. As others have noted, it's about a 3 block walk to the plaza, so very convenient. Our arrival was greatly delayed because of weather (arriving midnight), and the manager was very accommodating. When we finally arrived, a key was ready for us and all the lights were on in the casita making it a very welcoming experience after a very hard day. The only caveat is that there are about 10 steps down (outside) between the parking area and the casita. Not a problem for us, but if you have mobility difficulties (or a very overweight suitcase) you may want to consider alternatives."

  • Clean, Comfortable Condo in a great location...

"The (3) kids and I stayed here for several days as part of our annual Ski Vacation. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had the essentials we needed to call it home for a few days. The back porch was a convenient storage area for our gear. Grocery store and other misc. shopping was right around the corner. Kids enjoyed sitting around the fire each night. Beds were comfortable. Mike, the owner, was very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Cozy and Cute for a Couple

"My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. This casita's size is perfect for a couple. It is immaculate. It feels very private and the neighborhood was quiet. The fireplaces in the bedroom and living room are very efficient to keep the place warm. The kitchen has all amenities including a tea maker and a nice variety of teas. The bathroom is as beautiful as the pictures and very nice shampoo, conditioner and body soap is provided. I forgot to pack a hair dryer and was pleased to find one there. I felt like I was staying as a guest at a friend's house, where they thought of everything. The owner provided excellent communication and customer service. It has a good location to the historic downtown plaza. We preferred to drive there since we did so much walking to the many shops, art galleries and restaurants. We also visited the RailyardDistrict on a Saturday and had a great time at the Farmer's Market which also had a lot of artists booths. The Violet Crown movie theater there is very nice and modern. The Ski Santa Fe slopes were surprisingly close and were so uncrowded (compared to our local S. California ski mountains). We hope to return again sometime and I highly recommend this place."
