  • Perfect place in Ruidoso

"Condo was centrally located and had everything we needed. Hot tub was great after a day of skiing. Grocery store and other shopping was close by. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Lovely!

"Cute casita in a wonderful location in a beautiful setting! Quiet, private and cozy. You will feel like a Santa Fean, not a tourist. Super clean, has everything you could need, and has an excellent parking situation! Although there were other cars at the home, I never saw a soul except a fluffy kitty. Very peaceful and secluded feel, nice little outdoor area. Just lovely!"

  • Super Cool Place - Great Owner

"We LOVED this place. The pictures are highly accurate. If you look at them and think - this place looks super cool! - then this place is for you. It's quirky and cool and just what we like. We loved the sleeping caves that get nice and dark. Feeding the birds and basking in the beauty that is literally right out your doorstep was a highlight. We even went sledding down the driveway - providing lots of laughs and tiring out our dog. Speaking of which, our dog was so happy here and we so appreciate being able to bring him. Note, the cabin includes many modern conveniences including lights, refrigerator, shower etc., but you will need to be willing to build fires in the wood stove for heat. We actually found it fun. Most of all Garrett was an exceptional host. He lives part time in a house just down the hill. He greeted us on arrival and showed us around the house teaching us how to properly build a fire in the wood stove, use the gas oven etc... He called to check in on us after a day to make sure everything was going fine. Finally, when snow was added to the forecast, he allowed us to add on an extra day to our stay to ensure safe travel home. We are so grateful and would definitely stay again when we return to Taos."

  • Week before Christmas

"The property is nicely set up for two couples--we are in our late 60s. The furnishings are very pretty and the location is very close to Canyon Road galleries and a 3/4 mile walk to the Square. We walked everywhere. We rank the property between and 3 and a 4. Some things the owners might want to look into are the following: 1) the place could have been cleaner--dusty bathroom floors and counter tops in the kitchen. For the $150 cleaning fee we expected the place to be sparkling. 2) we did not use the oven but I did look inside of it and it was very dirty 3) the instruction/welcome booklet the owner mentioned to me was nowhere visible to us--we could have used instructions on how to turn on the TV! We finally figured it out on day 2. 4) the place was very cold when we arrived and it took 24 hours to warm it up 5) one bed did not have a bottom sheet on the bed--we found it in the closet 6) the back bedroom is very dark in the daytime The owners were helpful to us when we texted them. Thank you."
