  • Cozy Casita

"206 Clossum was a step back in time. Comfortable, cozy, convenient in every aspect. We look forward to staying in this historic adobe dwelling on our next visit to Santa Fe."

  • Perfect for families visiting Santa Fe area

"I have stayed in this beautiful house TWICE since finding it in 2013, and will absolutely be back. First with my family (party of 7 adults & 3 kids), then with my in-laws (party of 6 adults & 3 kids). Both families were just blown away by the space and comfort of the house for our groups. The first visit was over a weekend in late May which was quite cool and rainy, so we got to utilize the fireplace in the kitchen/family room area. We cooked and ate, played games at the large dining table, ventured out to sight see and the kids took advantage of the huge jetted tub in the master bath! The more recent visit was in late June and was quite a bit warmer... which alerted me to the fact that there is no AC in the house. It made for a couple slightly stuffy afternoons coming home, but once the windows were opened and the fans going (there is at least one tower fan in each room) a breeze caught and it was lovely. We also used the back porch a lot more since it was so nice out. On both visits we made some amazing meals in the big kitchen there! The gas stove lacks some power (took forever to just boil water!) but everything else works like new. All the pans, utensils and place settings you need are there. We had little kids in our party and they just loved the house, too. Rabbits, big beetles and lizards abound in the garden - lots to explore. We were even visited by a bobcat one morning, and deer another evening as well. Everyone had lots of room to spread out and get comfortable. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and the wifi was good. Getting to/from down town was super easy. It was fun trying new wines, cooking with fun spice mixes and not having to deal with restaurants at every meal. I do wish we could have paid with a credit card without a fee, but maybe in the future that will change :-) LOVE CASA MARTITA!!"

  • Perfect little spot!

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Casita! It was nice, cozy, and clean! We were walking distance to the plaza which was nice. It was perfect for my husband and I to have a long weekend getaway together!"

  • This is the place to be!

"This Nambe retreat casita has it all...mountain views, vigas, kiva fireplace, a private patio with fire pit for star gazing. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bed is super comfortable. Julia is an extremely gracious, attentive host and a wealth of knowledge about the Santa Fe/Nambe areas. We loved her. Thank you, Julia, for a five star experience!"
