"I can't say enough good things about Casa is really a beautiful home. Of all the rentals we've stayed at in past years, this was by far the best! The attention to guest satisfaction is apparent throughout the inside and outside of the house. From the wonderfully comfortable beds and living room furniture to the unexpected backpack and umbrella (we didn't pack them but it was great to have them there when it was needed), nothing was overlooked. I talked to the owner before we arrived and he called while we were there. Their concern for their guests' happiness is genuine! Ed was also very helpful in recommending restaurants and excursions. I should also mention that the house is very well-located and it was an easy walk to coffee shops, restaurants and markets. I agree with all the other guests--this was a fantastic place to stay in Santa Fe!!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location to the downtown. Property issue: Screens were missing from master bedroom and kitchen. The kitchen window couldn't be open. I think the AC filter needed to be changed since AC motor was a little loud. There was a broken tree branches overhanging the property but neighbors took care of it late in the rental period. the master bathroom had leaking faucets. The master bed pillows were not adequate and had buy new ones."

  • Couldn't have been any better!

"We stayed in Casa Vieja for the entire month of August with our two small dogs and it was pretty much perfection. The house is a genuine old Santa Fe adobe that the owner keeps immaculately maintained. Casa Vieja is cozy, comfy and tastefully decorated. It is located in a gated compound with three houses on the property, in a quiet neighborhood in the interesting (to us) historic older part of Santa Fe. A great deal of thought and care was put into the interior decoration of the house, which is filled with beautiful furniture, oriental rugs, art, and antiques. The mattress was comfortable, the sheets and towels were high quality. The tile work in the bathroom is especially exquisite. The kitchen is a pleasure to work in and is fully stocked with plates, cutlery, pots & pans. The thick adobe walls keeps the house cool, even when it is hot outside and there are plenty of windows to open for a good cross breeze. The house has a fenced courtyard garden which is a lovely place to sit in and drink coffee in the morning. Everything was spanking clean when we arrived and for a reasonable fee, we had Nancy's housekeeper come in and clean once a week. Apodaca Hill is an interesting neighborhood and you can walk to Canyon Road, The Plaza or Museum Hill from Casa Vieja. I've saved the best for last -- Nancy was the perfect hostess, she was attentive and responsive to our needs, but not obtrusive. We hope to return next year."

  • Santa Fe Vacation

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an enjoyable stay at Casita Romero. The house was comfortable and well located to walk to the Plaza. Kitchen was adequate for a short stay. I would have liked a table lamp in the living area instead of the overhead light but the room was comfortable. Good space for two and I recommend you give it a try if you're visiting Santa Fe."
