Recent Taos reviews

  • Lovely setting, big views, well-crafted dwelling and helpful owner

"What more could we ask for? We were so pleased to be in the Arroyo Seco area for a week of summer mountain hiking and exploring the Taos area. The casita was perfect for our needs. Walking distance to cafe and groceries. Comfortable, well-crafted and well cared for property. Peaceful in all respects. The Taos Cow cafe deserves the kudos as other reviewers have noted. We hope to be back."

  • Earthship Getaway!

"My husband and I had a fantastic time spending a weekend in the Earthship! The unique space is the perfect place to explore the forest, bird watch, and be your base of operations for exploring Taos (or just staying in enjoying the house like we did basically all weekend). The cave rooms are a unique, fun place to sleep and give a great vantage point to watch the sun come up from the floor to ceiling windows. Almost everywhere in the house has beautiful views of the forest - complete with hummingbirds! We can't wait to go back - the house is perfect for a fun getaway!"

  • Long October Weekend

"This was one of our favorite VRBOs! Amazing views, but still close to all of the charm Taos has to offer. Loved the design of the home and the decor. Simple, classic and wonderfully Taoseno. The weather and surroundings could not have been better. Our German Shepherd was in heaven. I am already missing the fire pit in the backyard, and the awesome blanket of stars. Don't miss the Taos Cow for lunch, Parcht for wine and cheese, Medley for dinner or drinks, and Elevation Coffee to start your day."

  • Very nice home in Taos

"The home is nicely furnished inside with comfortable beds and a good supply of kitchen items for cooking inside. It's in a quiet location so leaving the windows open at night (in the summer) was a good way to cool the house. It does get a bit warm mid-day especially in the back bedrooms with no A/C, but they do cool off well at night when typical Taos temperatures drop into the 50s."
