  • Dreamy Casita

"Really enjoyed the stay! Very cute and affordable, for staying in Taos. Far enough away from the town to have privacy, but close enough to have convinience. The host was very professional and nice. All of the paintings inside the house seem to be done by the host, which adds to the home away from home appeal."

  • Lovely, typical adobe style exterior. Elegant, well appointed interior. Convenient location.

"We loved our time at Casa Luna from the moment we met Sanjay with a bouquet of fresh flowers for us to enjoy all week! Peet's Coffee was in the freezer!! The location was excellent; only 12-15 minutes to historical Taos. We were away in a fairly private area with awe inspiring silence and cool, fresh air for sleeping. We liked the arrangement of the bedrooms and baths. One of each on either side of the open area kitchen/dining/living areas. Lots of privacy and solid wood doors to further buffer sounds. The house was very clean and well maintained and very visually appealing in it's decor. The kitchen has an abundance of useful appliances to start your day, or end it by cooking a beautiful meal. Close by (5 minutes) in Aroyo Seco are a few quality restaurants. On the way to town, about 7 minutes away is a well recommended restaurant with great Happy Hour, as well as a FABULOUS (more than pizza) pizza restaurant. Views were VERY good. Location is on your way to Taos Ski Area or fly fishing a bit north. What a lovely retreat for two couples, two good friends, or a family of up to 6. I highly recommend this beautifully appointed adobe style home. Sanjay way always available to us by text. We WILL return."

  • Family vacation and weddng

"Our son had his wedding about 5 miles from the river house also on the river, so this was very convenient for us to go back and forth to the wedding venue. My family of 8 stayed here for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. The house is gorgeous and spacious. We loved eating dinner around the huge dining room table together and all of the kitchen supplies. The master bedroom was a real retreat and the other bedrooms were great for our kids. It would have been nice to have a futon in the studio for extra sleeping but we made due with an air mattress. We really made use of the hot tub. We really used the outside facilities. We loved sitting by the river and the boys loved playing in the sand. We had a picnic lunch out there one day , but were disappointed that we couldn't get the grill to work. We also had great family times sitting by the fire pit and hiking along the arroyo. We were able to do some tourist activities that were close like visiting Sante Fe and Taos and river rafting. It was a great vacation that went along with a great event for our family."

  • Relax and feel at home

"Just what we needed after traveling through the 4 Corners area. The vista is breathtaking for sure, but it always changing which made this home special. The Sangre de Christo mountain range could entertain you all day. To the west is the Rio Grande gorge. Not just the bridge, but just down the road from the casita....natural hot springs. A hike and climb back up but the springs are worth the trip. Of course Taos and all it has to offer for any personality is a 6 mile drive. Our hosts gave us the name of some very good places to eat and for me...the art. This casita has everything you need and it is spotless. What you see in the pictures are my exact memories of this little home away from home. Thanks for sharing Janelle and Tony."
