  • Wonderful historic house with modern amenities and professional management

"I stayed for one week in March 2016 with my wife and father-in-law and greatly enjoyed this property. It's located in a quiet area within walking distance of downtown Taos. House has charm and character (wood beams on ceiling, fireplace, beautiful tile flooring) along with modern conveniences like WIFI, Netlix, and heating. The unit was clean, well furnished and supplied, and Laura (property manager) responded promptly to any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this house to others. Shawn"

  • Great restful casita close to the plaza and art galleries

"We were stopping in Taos for a few nights between Colorado and Texas. Loved Mabel's Casita! The price was the same or less than a hotel but we had a living room, kitchen/dining room, bedroom plus a private patio. And there is access to a hot tub - it is shared between 3 casitas but we never saw anyone else in it. Plus it just a short walk to the plaza. La Loma Plaza is a very historic area. We will return!"

  • Springwild

"Our family (five adults and two children) spent a week here and had a wonderful time. Our hosts were great. The house is unique. It's rustic, sophisticated, rambling, playful, romantic--an architectural fantasy. The master bedroom is on the ground level, and other bedrooms and sleeping areas require stairs. Our youngest granddaughter said it was like sleeping in a treehouse. Outside are open spaces, a large garden, and a fabulous view of nearby mountains. The location feels rural, but it's a five minute drive to the center of Taos. This property is an excellent choice."
