  • Lovely house and location

"The house is very nice, well appointed, and in a great location. You can't beat the sunrises and sunsets we saw there. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, quiet and open. Easy access to town without being in the hustle and bustle of it all. We were a bit surprised that the one bedroom was actually a studio, there is not a private bedroom. That was fine for us since it was just my girlfriend and me. There was everything we needed to be comfortable. Always love coming to Taos."

  • Relax and feel at home

"Just what we needed after traveling through the 4 Corners area. The vista is breathtaking for sure, but it always changing which made this home special. The Sangre de Christo mountain range could entertain you all day. To the west is the Rio Grande gorge. Not just the bridge, but just down the road from the casita....natural hot springs. A hike and climb back up but the springs are worth the trip. Of course Taos and all it has to offer for any personality is a 6 mile drive. Our hosts gave us the name of some very good places to eat and for me...the art. This casita has everything you need and it is spotless. What you see in the pictures are my exact memories of this little home away from home. Thanks for sharing Janelle and Tony."

  • Large, well appointed house in great location--VERY PRIVATE, great views.

"Overall the house was great, and in a great location. Plenty of space for a large group, plenty of beds, and TV's everywhere one might need. My only major complaint has to do with temperature control. We went in early July, with daytime highs in the 80's, and lows at night in the low 50's. There is no A/C. Some of the windows did not have screens, many of the windows were difficult to open, or even had broken hardware. The master might only get down to 77 by sunrise (even with windows open, and temps in the 50's), but not lower. One bedroom (with 3/4 only screens) was typically above 85 degrees in the morning. Again, great house, great location, plenty of space, plenty of TV's, VERY PRIVATE--but for my trip, also, very warm. The owner responded very promptly to each contact."

  • Great condo. Wonderfully furnished.

"We had a great weekend staying the Puerta Colorado. The condo was easily accessible into Taos and the fun things we found to do there. The furnishings were beautiful. I would choose this condo again. Great stay! Thank you to the Vigil's who graciously answered all our questions and were perfect hosts."
