  • Cute house! Good location

"The house was very clean and cozy. The owner met us there and was friendly and helpful. We appreciated the starter groceries and info on local restaurants. The house is small but well laid out with a large master suite and open floor plan. The deck and hot tub were perfect after a long day in the mountains. Location was perfect, 5 minute drive to the foot of the mountains and 15 minutes to Taos. We would highly recommend this house to any smaller group, it's perfect for 4 adults or 2 adults and 4 kids."

  • Serene Living!!

"Very nice property. It is close to the Plaza but still a little distance if walking. Extremely quiet didn't hear a thing! Nice set up. Nothing negative at all. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. One of the bedrooms had a sink which made it nice when getting ready. Only thing I can say was the mattress on the sofa bed not very good. First night my children slept there and they sank in the middle. Next night I placed the mattress on the floor which worked better. Otherwise was very close to shopping and restaurants and to my family who live in lower Ranchitos, so it was perfect for me! Would definitely consider staying again or using the same property owner."

  • Springwild

"Our family (five adults and two children) spent a week here and had a wonderful time. Our hosts were great. The house is unique. It's rustic, sophisticated, rambling, playful, romantic--an architectural fantasy. The master bedroom is on the ground level, and other bedrooms and sleeping areas require stairs. Our youngest granddaughter said it was like sleeping in a treehouse. Outside are open spaces, a large garden, and a fabulous view of nearby mountains. The location feels rural, but it's a five minute drive to the center of Taos. This property is an excellent choice."

  • Quiet and nice

"It's very clean and the owner very nice and accommodating. He gets back with you right away. Do remember the main bedroom is upstairs and that if you have a lot of luggage keep in mind that you will be going up and down a lot. I would recommend if you are staying a length of time to bring a hair dryer and iron. The walk to Town Plaza is a bit of one if you are not used to a walk. It was clocked as a mile and one half. Do recommend eating at "The Alley" and at Martys, very good food. If we didn't have to leave unexpectedly and cut our stay short, I would have asked if we could have done 1 more night. It reminds me of an efficiency apartment with a loft. Just right for one or two people. When booking in the Taos area, I would highly recommend this place!!"
