  • Best place for a long weekend

"This was our 3rd long weekend at the casita. Everything was great as usual. Nothing better than a nice long soak with a view. If you are looking for quiet solitude this is the place for it. We will be back next year. Thank you."

  • In the middle of town nice and private too!

"We recently stayed in this lovely home this summer and it was everything the site said it was and more! What they didn't tell you was that this nice and well kept home was surrounded by trees in the back this made sitting out in the hot tub and drinking coffee on the deck nice and very private. The house was very clean and had nice furnishings. The owners were so kind and helpful with all our questions. We would highly recommend this home to anyone. This was without a doubt a 5 star get away home."

  • A great location for our painting trip to Santa Fe!

"Jerome and his sister Dorothy are such gracious hosts! Jerome met us when we arrived to show us the house; he called the next day to see if we needed anything. He helped with directions, maps and brochures of the area, and had great suggestions for restaurants! Harry's Roadhouse is not to be missed!!! Santa Fe is a painter's delight in the fall--the best for landscapes and incredible skies! Because freeway access is so good, we had no problems getting to Abiquiu, Ghost Ranch, and Taos. The downtown plaza is close as well and the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and the Institute of American Indian Arts Museum are both within an easy drive. A small shopping area is five minutes away and very convenient. There were four of us and we each had our own room and had plenty of space to spread out. It was delightful to watch the sunrise from the upstairs loft. Jerome and Dorothy both left us with fond memories of Santa Fe hospitality and we cannot thank them enough."

  • Couldn't have been any better!

"We stayed in Casa Vieja for the entire month of August with our two small dogs and it was pretty much perfection. The house is a genuine old Santa Fe adobe that the owner keeps immaculately maintained. Casa Vieja is cozy, comfy and tastefully decorated. It is located in a gated compound with three houses on the property, in a quiet neighborhood in the interesting (to us) historic older part of Santa Fe. A great deal of thought and care was put into the interior decoration of the house, which is filled with beautiful furniture, oriental rugs, art, and antiques. The mattress was comfortable, the sheets and towels were high quality. The tile work in the bathroom is especially exquisite. The kitchen is a pleasure to work in and is fully stocked with plates, cutlery, pots & pans. The thick adobe walls keeps the house cool, even when it is hot outside and there are plenty of windows to open for a good cross breeze. The house has a fenced courtyard garden which is a lovely place to sit in and drink coffee in the morning. Everything was spanking clean when we arrived and for a reasonable fee, we had Nancy's housekeeper come in and clean once a week. Apodaca Hill is an interesting neighborhood and you can walk to Canyon Road, The Plaza or Museum Hill from Casa Vieja. I've saved the best for last -- Nancy was the perfect hostess, she was attentive and responsive to our needs, but not obtrusive. We hope to return next year."
