  • Great place and very convenient.

"This is our third year to Angel Fire and this is hands down the best place we stayed. House was great, location is great and kids loved playing in the snow in the yard, sledding down the hill, and seeing the mule deer. The drive to the ski area is 2 minutes away with easy and close parking to the lifts. Great place for families with children. We have a 2 wheel drive Yukon XL and had no issue accessing the property as the owners made sure the driveway was cleared daily and the house has snow shovels and salt in case such is needed."

  • Beautiful, well-maintained private vacation home

"This home provided a wonderful place to base our trip to Santa Fe and the surrounding area. Just north of town at the end of a private road, we enjoyed privacy but easy access to Santa Fe and Taos. The pool and outside deck are fantastic; water kept at 85 degrees which was perfect on 70 - 75 degree days in September. Large glass doors give wide open access to the house and comfortable outdoor furniture. The living room was also very comfortable for our group of 7 people. The kitchen is well-stocked and has nice appliances. It is adjacent to a dining area with a large table for 8. Three bedrooms in the main house were all clean and comfortable as was the separate casita which is a short walk away. Many beds bother my back but I had great sleep all week in the king bed in the casita. There is also a separate outdoor seating area in a garden below the main house where we watched hummingbirds in the morning and sunsets in the evening. The property manager, Mark, met us when we arrived and gave a great tour of the house and area. He lives nearby and is available if any needs arise. One of our party left a necklace in a bedroom and Mark called us at the airport to let us know before she even realized it was missing. He shipped it back home to her. In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and our first-time visit to Santa Fe. We were with our adult children and their companions ranging in age from 25 - 31. We all decided to spend our last afternoon of our 1-week trip relaxing at the poolside because we liked it so much. We felt the rental was worth every penny!"

  • Nothing fancy but we liked it!

"We really liked staying here. The living room was big opening to the dining room & kitchen. The table accommodated our family of 5 with plenty of room when we ate or played games. We didn't cook much but the kitchen was stocked, as were the towels for the bathrooms. The kids loved the bunk room but we used their fans bc it got hot in there at night w/the door closed. It's dimly lit with lamps instead of overhead lighting in the bedrooms but the living has a big window for the day. The sinks were tricky - super hot or ice cold & the bathrooms could use updating but it was manageable. The gravel driveway is very steep - like our Yukon had to get a 'running start' steep - but it made it. No ice or snow when we went. We used the washer/dryer once. It's close to some fast food & Walgreens & about 45 min from the slopes. Even w/its minor 'issues', we'd stay here again!"
