  • We made an Excellent choice !!

"Our stay at Casa de Siesta was positively one of the very best accommodations we have experienced in all of our travels. The 'casita' was very well furnished, and very well equipped with every item we would ever need! Richard was a most gracious host; he met us upon arrival, welcomed us warmly, and gave us a thorough tour of the "home" we would enjoy for 9 nights. There is an abundance of literature/brochures of places to see in and around the area, as well as a large selection of books and historical information on the Albuquerque & New Mexico area. Richard insisted that we contact him for anything we needed, or any questions we had at all. It is obvious that Richard takes pride in insuring his guests are well rested, and informed about things to do, or places to go. The casita's kitchen in particular, has every conceivable item that you could ever need. A very pleasant stay, and most comfortable accommodation. We are most happy that we chose Richard's "home away from home" for our visit to New Mexico."

  • Annual Trip

"There were eleven in our annual company officers trip. We had a great time and the house is really nice. The kitchen is stocked with some really nice pots and pans. There is an extra refrigerator in the garage. The back deck was great to sit and watch the river go by. The grandkids hiked the mountains around us. We enjoyed the July 4th parade in Red River and the fireworks in Eagles Nest. It was not crowded and easy to get around all week. Beautiful place to spend time with our family. The only negatives was the refrigerator was making a lot of noise. But the manager had already called for a repairman. He had to come on one of our days and spent a couple of hours trying to fix it. One of the toilet seats was broken and management fixed it quickly! The bathrooms could use some updates too. It would be nice to have more hooks and towel rods all over the house. We were very satisfied and enjoyed our time there."

  • New Mexico Winter

"We enjoyed a lovely home to spend a month in the culturally diverse capital of New Mexico. Any issues were quickly resolved and always pleasantly. The walks to the plaza were downhill. The furnishings and artwork were appropriate for the southwest and tasteful. We exchanged a 65 degree morning for a 104" snow base ski adventure in 30 minutes. This was a reasonable decision which we thoroughly enjoyed and have no regrets."
