  • Cozy gem of a cabin

"What a gem of a cabin in the snowy woods! Clean, comfortable and stocked with what you need to have a sweet time relaxing, eating, and enjoying the natural views. We had room to park our big truck and then up a few steps to a large, lovely porch. The layout is spacious with a bedroom and bath on each end and the gathering area in the middle. We went snow tubing and skiing at Ski Cloudcroft as well as Ski Apache (1.5 hours away). Our kids enjoyed having their own room (twin beds) and en suite bath. We couldn't find a grill brush there but we improvised with some scrubby pads and a can of easy off from the family dollar store around the corner. We cooked our meals in the kitchen and it was amply stocked with cook and serveware. Quiet neighborhood, and felt very private as the home is set back from the road and not too close to neighbors. This was perfect for our family of 4."

  • This is a well located property (ID 222254) with beautiful views.

"I have twice leased this house for a month and will be pleased to do so in the future. The property is well managed and always in proper order. I recommend it highly."

"Our visit was for a week in late August in 2016. We have stayed in this house several times over a period of twenty years. This property was named Andy's Mountain Terrace in previous years. It is well kept. It is located about two blocks north of Main Street. Any occupant is free of any noise from Main Street but only two blocks from all the restaurants. The view from the windows in the living area is wonderful. The deck is great for just reading and enjoying the weather. Reservations Unlimited was very responsive to any needs that we had. However, I have some somewhat negative points. The windows in the upstairs bedroom and loft need to be cleaned. There is no internet access. In this day and time, that should be provided. Driving down the mountainside to the library is very inconvenient. There are two sleeper sofas that are old enough that they are not comfortable for an adult. One of the bedrooms has two bunk beds that are adequate for children but not for adults. We have always been partial to this property to the point that we have refused to stay at any other location. I hope that the current owners are responsive to this review. We will not be staying at Sunny Bear until these issues are resolved. This is a wonderful place to stay other than the points previously mentioned."

  • A Complete Gem on the Rio Grande

"This was such a sweet place to stay. Our kids and dog loved the rural setting in the apple orchard and the ability to walk to the river. The family is super nice. We couldn't have asked for a sweeter spot near Dixon and pretty close to Taos."
