  • Family getaway

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. We arrived right before dark, and were a little concerned that the adjoining properties (below) appeared to be permanent residencse and some of the porch areas were being used for storage. However, our concerns ended up being unwarranted.. It was very quiet the 4 days and 3 nights we were there. The location is centrally located, so getting to/from attractions was easy. The property was clean, the linens appeared to be newly purchased and/or excellent quality. The master bedroom king size bed was the MOST COMFORTABLE bed I've slept on in years! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and my 24-year old son loved playing the PS2 games he fondly rememebers from his teen years. Netflix was easily accessible on the tv, and the wifi was great. Last, but not least, the deposit refund that could've taken up to 14 days per the rental agreement was refunded on the 2nd business day after our return. I would definitely recommend this property to others!"

  • Better than a hotel or motel!

"Friendly host, property is private, secluded, serene, like a home away from home. Most personal needs were met in all respects. Neat, clean cottage (tree house), refreshing water feature, delightful mountain air, and relaxing atmosphere. Truly a unique vacation alternative, plus a bonus of seeing a working Alpaca farm, and informational presentation of Alpaca wool processing, spinning, weaving, and finished goods. Convenient to Taos, with it's dining, art colonies, Indian pueblos, extensive Mexican goods markets, casino, golf, sight seeing, etc. Be sure to visit nearby Arroyo Seco, which is a mini-tourist town providing several dining options, an ice cream shop, top rated ladies (girls) boutique, also jewelry, art, and gift shops. Recommend for others seeking a comfortable, affordable vacation idea."

  • Cedro area Mountain Tree House

"We thoroughly enjoyed this picturesque lodging choice nestled in a quiet neighborhood within the Manzano mountains, yet still close to Albuquerque. The owner handled all communications in a proficient and friendly manner with ample information, so an easy booking process with great follow through. The damage deposit was quickly credited after our stay. The accommodations were very comfortable and everything functioned well in the home. The kitchen was well stocked, so no need to bring back up utensils etc. and access to a (HE soap) washer & dryer was a bonus. There are grocery stores and restaurants in the area, so no need to chase down to Albuquerque for those options. I particularly appreciated the 2nd floor master bedroom deck for its mountain views and birds flying by at eye level, as I relaxed with coffee and a book. The home is situated high enough in the mountains to watch the transitional variances of mountain weather as nearby storms move through while you sit unaffected on the deck. Overall, it's a wonderful VRBO offering!"
