  • Fantastic home

"Just far enough from town to grab outstanding views. Beautiful loggia where we spent most of the time, always ate out side. I have stayed in a number of rentals over the last 6 years and this is tops. Kitchen well supplied. Plenty of room for three or four, and the newly remodeled bathrooms are hotel worth five star."

  • Was great! It has 3 separate sleeping areas. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.

"We all had a great time. The hot tub was fun for all. My brother used it each day several times. My son in law loved that we had elk on the mountain behind the house. The cabin is very close to town but seems isolated and private."

  • Wonderful Vacation House!

"We were extremely happy with Casa de Luz. It's great to find a place where we can have our dogs; the communication with the charming owner was easy and quick; the location is great (north of Taos, right off the road to the Taos Ski Basin), close to town and amenities but off the main highway; the house was very well appointed and comfortable (lots of dishes and pots and pans, as well as some staples) (oh, and the beds were also comfortable) (and we should mention the lovely yard, with its grass and flowers and birds). We absolutely loved it and hope to return."

  • Beyond expectations

"This was my husband's and my first visit to Santa Fe, and we did not want to leave at the end of the week. Chris's casita was perfect for us--charmingly decorated and comfortably appointed, extremely quiet at night, light-filled during the day (loved the skylights!), with a comfy king bed in the Master bedroom, a spacious eat-in kitchen, and a cozy living room with a kiva fireplace that we enjoyed several times. The house is even more spacious than it looks in the photos. And the location was so convenient, especially to Canyon Road's galleries and restaurants. From the first communication, Chris was extremely helpful. We ate at many of the restaurants she recommended, all great, and visited local museums as well as driving to Taos one day (highly recommend!). This was one of our best VRBO experiences ever. We plan to return to Santa Fe, and we hope to stay again in what we are now calling "our casita.""
