  • Great experience

"We are often in Taos/Santa Fe and this casita made it to the top of our list. A great neighborhood, close enough to the plaza and excellent restaurants (we love the eclectic Byzantium). The space felt just right for us (2 adults, 1 child), in other places we felt we overpaid for space we did not really need. Beautifully restored and decorated, with all amenities one needs."

  • Great house!

"This is a gorgeous house with great amenities (washer/dryer, dishwasher, games, tv in bedrooms, hammock, lots of outdoor and porch space). It's very comfortable and spacious. It's in a prime location that offers a quite retreat overlooking the river and is still very close to a few restaurants."

  • Great house, location

"This is a very roomy 2 bedroom house. We had a wonderful stay. Joy is the best manager we have ever dealt with. Plenty of dishes in the kitchen so we didn't have to worry about running out between dish washer loads. A nice surprise was instant hot water....that really spoiled me. A nice walled yard so we were able to let our dog out to enjoy the sunshine. The house is in a neighborhood, but because of the walls and different elevations felt very private. The location is perfect in the Sonoma Ranch area. It's close to everything, easy to get to I-25 and 70. We love Las Cruces and there is always some event to look forward to. This is a great little "home away from home" to enjoy while exploring the city."

  • Quintessential New Mexico

"This is our third stay at Lorey's beautiful Getaway, although our first during the winter season. What a delight! To us, this represents why New Mexico is referred to as the "Land of Enchantment". Beauty, culture, nature, unique architecture, light, sky, peace and harmony. All without the feeling of being among the mass of tourists. Wonderful wine, great breakfast, lovely accommodations, and ALWAYS great conversation with the host. A perfect location for outdoor activities, including hiking, photography, cross-country or downhill skiing and snowshoeing. Nothing better than a day of activity in any number of easily accessible locations and return to this B & B for true relaxation! We'll be back!"
