  • Perfect Getaway Spot!

"What a fun space! We spent 3 nights in this rental last week & it was better than we expected. First, the location could not be better - only a couple minutes walk to the plaza. And when you step into the casita you feel as though you have stepped into another world - the decor is what I would call a good kind of "quirky." The pictures on the website portray the space accurately, but they can't do it justice. You have to see it in person to get the full effect. It takes awhile to take it all in and you discover new things over the course of your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom has both a tub and shower. The trundle bed is very comfortable should you need to use it. Great internet service and cable tv. The only issue we had was that the thermostat for the heat was locked and we could not adjust the temperature, so it got a little nippy inside after the sun went down (easily corrected but something you should ask about.) Also, you need to be able to climb a rather steep spiral staircase to get to the bedroom, so keep that in mind (not a negative for most folks, but something to keep in mind if you have trouble with steps.) This was a wonderful, reasonably priced place which we thoroughly enjoyed. We highly recommend it."

  • Close to town, Clean

"Close walk to town and easy parking. Nothing too special but this was exactly what we were looking for since we wanted to be by the plaza and the place easily slept 6. Only stayed one night and after the cleaning fee, taxes, etc. the price was about double the price vrbo originally quoted. Tod was very nice and the rooms were clean. I would recommend this to any group looking to stay in Sante Fe near the plaza ."

  • The perfect place to get away for a few days...

"If you like the views of Abiquiu Lake and the red bluffs of Ghost Ranch, this is your spot.. We have stayed at 2 other VRBOs in this area and believe Lake Casita has the best views without a doubt... The Casita itself is well maintained and very "comfy".... Mornings and evenings were so relaxing... mornings with a cup of coffee and evenings with a glass of wine and cold beer.. we will be back..."

  • Private, Cozy Casita

"My sister and I stayed here for four nights and we loved it! The bed was very comfortable and the pull-out sofa, I'm told, was as well. It's very private and quiet. The full size kitchen was great for cooking and there is also small charcoal grill just outside. If you're not into cooking, there's a great place to eat a few blocks away, called the Pantry Restaurant, it's a must. I would definitely recommend this charming property."
