  • Great Place

"The little guest house was beyond my expectation. Mitzi was helpful, but I did not see her my whole stay, but was assured if I needed anything at all, she was a phone call away. The neighborhood was very quiet, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. My little dog absolutely loved the big yard. I will definitely stay here again!!!!! The guest house was truly a home away from home."

  • Great restful casita close to the plaza and art galleries

"We were stopping in Taos for a few nights between Colorado and Texas. Loved Mabel's Casita! The price was the same or less than a hotel but we had a living room, kitchen/dining room, bedroom plus a private patio. And there is access to a hot tub - it is shared between 3 casitas but we never saw anyone else in it. Plus it just a short walk to the plaza. La Loma Plaza is a very historic area. We will return!"

  • Great dog friendly adobe in Arroyo Seco

"Rented Kitty's casita from Aug. 5th - 8th of this year. The pictures looked great and the actual rental, even better. The adobe casita sits on the back of Kitty's property and is very private. Large fenced in yard for our dogs, they loved it. The hot tub was a great way to chill and relax after a long day. The main level consists of the living area and kitchen with the bathroom around the side hallway where there is a large closet for hanging clothing as well as shelves. The stairs up to the bedroom area are rather steep, and the dogs did not want to venture up. The bedroom , which is a loft is very comfortable with plenty of storage in the dresser. The area surrounding the adobe is very quiet and peaceful. It is just a short 2 mile drive into Arroyo Seco, and Taos is just another easy 9 mile drive down the road. We thought we had made a mistake staying so far out of Taos, but it ended up being the main reason we will return again. Thank you Kitty for letting stay in your casita, we will be returning soon."

  • Vacation Home

"My husband and I had a wonderful experience renting this ranch style home. The location is just four miles through pecan farmland from some of the major roads in Las Cruces. The property has a country feel to it but is surrounded by other homes in a quiet cul-de-sac. The inside was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pellet stove during those colder winter nights. During our month long stay my husband flew out of El Paso a couple of times for work. I felt very safe being in the home on my own. If we stayed in the city I am not sure I would have felt the same. I highly recommend staying at this peaceful home if your travels take you to Las Cruces. The owner is very easy to work with and available if you have questions."
