  • So good we keep returning.

"When traveling with family, especially young children, VRBOs are the way to go. This particular VRBO is top notch. We've stayed at this home during summer to escape the heat of OK and we've visited during peek ski season. The owners treat us like family and have gone so far as to leave toys available when they knew we were visiting with our youngest. Everything you could possibly need is provided and the kitchen is completely stocked. The beds and all the furniture don't give you that uncomfortable feeling of "when was this cleaned last". You can tell the owners take pride in their home and have thought of everything to make sure your stay is top notch. The closeness to the golf course, tennis courts, parks, and walking trails allow us to park our vehicle and leave it for most of the stay. During the winter, you might not be walking distance to the ski area, but you are close enough to go home for lunch. If you don't mind a little longer drive, Taos is about an hour away and has wonderful food, art, culture and even more skiing. Be sure to grab a map and check out all the great hiking that surrounds the area too. During the summer, Angel Fire ski area has great mountain biking and zip lining too. Our last stay was during President's weekend and we are already planning our next return. Thank you for sharing your home!"

  • The perfect place for the Hansen family to relax, unwind and enjoy Santa Fe. My husband and I were

"very familiar with the Santa Fe area as he graduated with his Masters from the University of New Mexico and we spent many weekends in Santa Fe, but that was 35 years ago. We were looking for a place where our family (our two sons, wives and grandchildren could go and be away from the city a bit, have enough space to be able to get away from each other if needed and have a beautifully set up kitchen so that we could cook some of our evening meals in. From the pictures, I expected a very nice home, but was not prepared for the the way the home was set up for visitors...there were extras of everything, spices, etc. extra towels, beach towels and even shampoo, etc. in each bathroom. We so enjoyed the outdoor spaces which are numerous and all give you a different view of either the mountains or the home...my favorite was the small patio off the dining room where I enjoyed coffee in the morning. The kids loved the big front patio and spent lots of time out there playing with their toys and outdoor games. We will definitely keep this place in mind as our family grows and we need to get away especially in the summer months when the Texas summer heat is so brutal. The mornings of 60 degrees were heaven! Oh yes, the hummingbirds. We have them at our home, but they don't normally come in as frequently as they did at the house once we got the feeders set up...they were fun for everyone to watch in the mornings and the evenings."

  • Great little house in old Santa Fe

"I booked the Biscochito house a few blocks from the Governor's Mansion in the historic McKenzie neighborhood of Santa Fe. Our landlady was easy to deal with and extremely accommodating. The house is very comfortable, decorated with taste (including some gorgeous photographs by the landlady herself. We could easily walk to shops & sights in the historic district, including to the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum (small but fabulous), not to mention brew pubs $ restaurants. We enjoyed people watching from the front porch and relaxing with dinner in the back yard. A small but particular pleasure for me was being able to dry off from a shower in big luxurious towels. All the necessary amenities were included, including laundry facilities. I give Biscochito House my highest recommendation."
