  • Another great trip

"I stayed here last fall and came back. We rented both casitas for a great girl's retreat. I love New Mexico. It is beautitul here. Floyd has done a wonderful job with his properties. I will be back for sure in the near future. Lots of beautiful places to go from here. We went to Echo Amphitheatre near Ghost Ranch one day. Stunning! The family is welcoming and very respectful. I suggest that you stay here :-)"

  • A great location for our painting trip to Santa Fe!

"Jerome and his sister Dorothy are such gracious hosts! Jerome met us when we arrived to show us the house; he called the next day to see if we needed anything. He helped with directions, maps and brochures of the area, and had great suggestions for restaurants! Harry's Roadhouse is not to be missed!!! Santa Fe is a painter's delight in the fall--the best for landscapes and incredible skies! Because freeway access is so good, we had no problems getting to Abiquiu, Ghost Ranch, and Taos. The downtown plaza is close as well and the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and the Institute of American Indian Arts Museum are both within an easy drive. A small shopping area is five minutes away and very convenient. There were four of us and we each had our own room and had plenty of space to spread out. It was delightful to watch the sunrise from the upstairs loft. Jerome and Dorothy both left us with fond memories of Santa Fe hospitality and we cannot thank them enough."

  • Fabulous!

"We were so pleased with this little "GEM". Our casita was just perfect, tucked away and oh so beautiful. The location cannot be beat if your looking to unwind and enjoy mother nature. The owner David, is helpful and lives right there on the property. We would recommend this property and we will return on our next trip to Taos."

  • The Lane house

"My partner and I stayed at Bearpaw Ranch, in the Lane house for 7 nights. Rose was such a friendly and accommodating host that she soon felt like an old friend. Our cabin was roomy, stocked with everything we needed for meal preparation, with all the amenities of home but in a quiet and peaceful place that was heavenly. The only sounds breaking the silence were the calls and chirping of birds, cows mooing in the distance and the wind. It is a wonderful place for stargazing as there is zero light pollution at the ranch which allows for incredibly brilliant night skies. It also is in a good location for exploring several amazing local attractions, such as Gila Cliff Dwellings and hot springs, City of Rocks state park, the catwalk in Glenwood and Faywood hot spings. Silver City is nearby and a nice place to visit. It has several good grocery stores and many nice restaurants if you feel the need to spend a little time back in "civilization" during your stay at Bearpaw Ranch. We already look forward to a return visit."
