"Nice clean cabin, centrally located & the owners were available if we needed anything or had questions."

  • Perfectly Perfect

"My husband and I stayed here for over 6 weeks while renovating our home in Santa Fe. It couldn't have suited us better. The house is private, spacious, quiet, warm, and had everything we needed, and more. It is set off from the road and has a large yard with trees in front and back. Not glitzy or sparkly, this house is comfortable and welcoming. We enjoyed the fireplace in the main bedroom as well as the wood stove downstairs on wintry nights (though the main heat system worked fine too). The kitchen is small, but more than adequate for us. Coffee maker and basic cooking ingredients and new microwave and some beautiful plates and cups are all available. The large rustic dining table could seat many guests if one wanted to entertain a group. There is a small private bedroom that served me well as an office/writing room. The owners live nearby and went out of their way to be helpful in all sorts of ways. At the same time, we had as much privacy as we wanted. People looking for a dog-friendly rental will love this house. Our two dogs couldn't have been happier--both indoors as well as outside; the fenced-in area kept them safe and secure. No complaints about this wonderful find. I highly recommend it to all."

  • A great place for a family in a prime location close to everything!

"We recently stayed at Lee's house for a week that overlapped part of the Balloon Fiesta. My sister was getting married and we came in from Northern California. We have 3 daughters aged 5, 5 & 3 and we initially picked the place since it was so close to tons of fun things to do like Explora, The Natural History Museum, the Zoo! The house is beautifully done with many upgrades. It's tucked away and we loved the location. The house was extremely well equipped with everything we needed, Lee even had lemonade and fresh fruit there for our arrival. The place feel very roomy with the high vaulted ceilings. The enclosed back patio was great to grill and have dinner at. The low treads on the stairs to the 2nd floor were so great with the kids, I wasn't worried about them falling down at all. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, it was amazing. Thank you Lee!! The Bosch Family : )"

  • Great place, excellent location.

"This is a good small house for a single family, with additional room to accommodate children, or a close family member (not a private room). The location is great, just 15 mins from Red River - very easy for skiers. We saw deers, elks, turkeys and even mountain goats along the road. Very refreshing perspective . Backyard is huge. The only problem for us was that the backyard is not fenced from the creek side and our dog easily crossed the creek so we couldn't let her to run free. Also there is a bridge over creek. If your dog's are very obedient, that will be a great place for them."
