  • Repeat renter, family vacation time!

"This is our second time renting this home. It is very comfortable, clean and roomy enough for our group of 4 adults and 3 young children in a quiet neighborhood. Board games, books, and pool table available for entertainment in addition to a TV and videos. Literature available of things to do in the area, and wi-fi if browsing the internet is desired. Large screened-in back porch with chairs for reading or visiting, as well as a large table for eating, playing games, or socializing. Outdoor gas grill and firepit available for grilling or cooking S'mores over the fire! Nearby elementary school has a playground easily within walking or biking distance. Jessica is very easy to communicate with. Easy access to Burlington and surrounding attractions. We would recommend this home and may be back for a third time if we decide to vacation in the Burlington area again! Thank you Jessica for making our vacation easy and comfortable!!"

  • A True Get-Away!

"Our family of 4 wanted to get away for the Thanksgiving weekend and Little Peak Chalet was absolutely perfect! The Chalet is tucked away up in the mountain just across from Whiteface, and is part of a little mountain neighborhood. My kids immediately commented on how quiet it was 'away from it all.' The chalet itself was clean and well appointed for our needs. It has a stove, refrigerator, microwave, shower and all of the dishes, pots, pans, and linens that anyone would need. Our daughters slept in the loft, my wife in the back bed, and I brought an air mattress for myself knowing that I don't do well on couch mattresses and there was no way we would both fit into a double bed (I'm 6'4) and it worked out really well. The drive for the Gondola ride at Whiteface was about 5 minutes away...and Main St. Lake Placid is about 25 mins away. Little Peak was clean, and centrally located to everything we wanted to do for our quick trip! The front deck was great to sit on and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and enjoy the view of Whiteface. We take multiple trips per year and our kids said that this was their favorite vacation of all time. We are already planning another trip up during a different season to take advantage of all of the fun Lake Placid and Wilmington have to offer."

  • Paradise by the Lake

"My friends and I enjoyed a picture perfect stay at Barney Point. The home has everything you'd want for your Vermont getaway - rustic wood finishings, a beautiful brick fireplace and breathtaking views (and there's a lot of 'em) of Lake Champlain. It's a quick (15 minute) drive to Burlington and we had little trouble getting cabs. Finally Tim's a gracious and responsive host, and I hope to be back soon."

  • Lake Champlain Bicycle vacation

"Eight of us came from NH for a bicycling vacation. The owners were fabulous, very responsive. The home was well equipped and nicely maintained and located just south of the town of Plattsburg. Beautiful beach with great views of the mountains in VT. The Valcour Brewery was a great afternoon out for some brews! Livingoods Brewery in Peru is a great night out--great food. Bicycling in the area is wonderful--including a 3 ferry tour of NY to VT to Burlington to NY! The Ausable Chasm is just 5 miles south! Early morning paddle to Valcour Island is a must! Thank you to our hosts for a perfect vacation!"
